The light house should be open to everyone.
I was in a thread where someone was bummed out about never making to lighthouse.
IMO the lighthouse should be a social space that you can load into whenever trials is open. ( similar to lord Salidan )
Brother Vance have no reason to be in the reef, so he should be in the lighthouse selling the passage ticket a ToO armor and weapon like he was doing in year one.
And to the idiots that just read the title, bypassing my entire post and run straight to my stats to talk itsh. I been to the lighthouse a few times, I dont play it anymore cause the rewards isnt worth it. This is about ppl who can't get to a piece of content they paid for. So youll get muted.

Geesh people this was just an idea to make the lighthouse a social area. Some of you guys act like you going to put your lighthouse visits on your job resume. Lol

8 AntwortenNo one actually looks around at the lighthouse. You just go to the chest and get your loot. Usually the water star which you will get 15 times in a row.

If your rewards are still based on flawless don't see why it's such a crazy idea, you supposedly earn the gear the location is just a location.

I agree vance shouldn't be at the reef any more. Put him outside of the lighthouse but have to the door sealed.

No I honestly like this, I agree with you 100% and only the people that go flawless should be able to open the chest and everyone around can see what they got. That would be cool!

Well, maybe. I think that if they set it up like that then it would have been fine since the beginning. The only problem would be how the chest would work, and I'm guessing they could have had a sort of key mechanic kinda like PoE. Though since it isn't like that it's not gonna happen, and it will probably only be reserved for those that have gone flawless

It shouldn't be open to everyone. It should be a space where other flawless guardians can see each other and can, e.g. Use vaults, decrypt engrams etc

It should be locked, but the grimoire should be obtainable somehow.

What shouldn't be locked off IMO is grimore. Since it tells the story, it should not only be accessible by only a select few. The light house and whatever else, I don't care. I would like to make it but hey, if I'm not good, I don't go. However, like I said, grimore is the story.

He's always been in the reef. I could see the lighthouse becoming a social space if we get a DLC involving Osiris or destiny 2 involves him. However, you would have them land somewhere else to grab loot for flawless then have them drop down or something.

There should be something to do there.. a shooting range (field test adept weapons), spar with swords, Idk maybe vendors to trade armor or weapons, reforge? It seems like a good place to read lore about osiris?Also, why doesn't brother vance meet you there? " Maybe I'll see you on mercury" he says.
