[u]Hermes[/u] [i]Tzzt. Tzzt.[/i] Sparks flittered as the precision plasma torch fused the circuits of the microchip. The machines inside the workshop did so according to the commands and calculations that Jaeger had input. The device they were currently constructing, was a scanner designed to pick up minute traces of elements in the atmosphere, feeding the information back to Hermes, ultimately in hopes of mapping it out, enabling the team to avoid potentially hazardous areas. As they the machines worked, he opened up another Holo-Screen, looking over schematics of others devices he had also been looking at.

[b][i][u]The Hermes[/u][/i][/b] Aboard the Hermes, Silver finishes up his message to the other factions of the Alliance to assist the Nuva Nui republic in its efforts to protect their territories and fight back against the forces of Entropy. Once done, he walks out and passes by X1, who has finished unloading the crates and is now making her way to her quarters. He sits down in the open cockpit of his fighter and starts to look over the files in the Hermes computer. Once done, he takes a look around the hanger, reminding him of his times with Cyprus and the Infinite Pioneers. He then gets up, closes up his fighter, and then makes his way down the halls of the Hermes, deciding to explore the ship a bit to get more comfortable to working on it. [spoiler]Open. [/spoiler]

Aboard the Hermes, reports are coming in of thefts of firearm pieces, such as a frame for a revolver, two silencers and suppressors, a barrel for a revolver and a marksman rifle The most worrying reports were that of EMP parts being stolen, and explosive components as well [b]---------------------------------[/b] Jared smiled as he put the parts together, the pieces fitting like a glove on a hand His revolver, Klink, as modified to have a retractable suppressor/silencer and have EMP rounds that increase in effect and AOE the more that are fired, but it also gained a twin, another revolver that looked the same but was named klick, and had the same specs He put them together and pressed a button on Both's handles, and they meshed, forming a Marksman rifle with a variable magnification scope, large mag, and with a suppressor/silencer end to the barrel He sighed a contented sigh as he leaned back in his chair in his quarters, he was sure nobody had seen him....... [/b][/i] ///////////////////////////////////////////////////// [i]"Proud citizens of the Republic, Federation, and just about every official Union faction, as well as some Freelancers, have made it onboard the NTR Hermes, a colonization ship. Everyone accounted for onboard the Alamo-Class Battleship. Standing by for orders, sir." [/i] [i]A ship was prepared for flight. It was an Alamo-Class Cruiser, but there was one key difference between this ship and others of its class - This ship was meant for colonization. It didn't bear nearly as many weapons of war as any other Battleship of this class, but what was inside was food, water and medical supplies that would last for years on end, if used properly. The crew soon boarded the vessel. A small group of people from each faction - Republic, Federation, Triumvirate, and some Freelancers that have been selected - have all boarded the vessel, and set up in a specialized barracks, consisting of a central living room and dining room, with separate bedrooms and shower units (learned [b]that[/b] lesson after FN). The rest of the ship was manned and maintained by Andrew-09, the ship's resident A.I unit which would guide the ship to its destination. The destination, in question, was a jungle planet. The planet was similar to Earth and New Terra in climate, but was just one massive jungle, with sizable lakes and rivers that flowed throughout the entire thing. Truly amazing things were here, so researchers were highly needed to discover more of the native animals and plants. The wildlife was insane at times, so we needed doctors and soldiers to keep us live. Bacta-Tanks alone couldn't fix every lost limb. [/i] ///////////////////////////////////////////////////// [i]There was silence, then there was ascension. The Hermes sped throughout the skies above Mandalore City, breaking through the atmosphere like a dagger running through flesh - Some resistance to the vessel was had, but not much. When the ship was in orbit, the people onboard were clear to move around. The trip would take a while, so people would want to be introducing themselves to their new teammates and allies. ((INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER))[/i] [spoiler]Here's how this is working: 1: You were selected by the Republic and given up by your faction to colonize a planet. You have food, water and medical supplies to survive for a bit. (DO NOT take the Hermes apart - it will be important.) 2: Freelancers are people that aren't aligned with factions, yet be been selected to undergo this secret operation. 3: Don't be an edgy shit-lord who tried to kill everyone. These people are all you have as allies, and having a team will be important. 4: 3 character limit. 5: Any questions should be sent via PM to myself, Ginger, Pavel and Ver, in a group. [i][b]New Threat[/b][/i] Ryker was adjusting to his new age... The fact he couldn't run like he could or jump like he could before. Life was more slow now. He was plenty fit for his age, not looking that bad, but the age obvious on his face. His hair had grayed out some, and some wrinkles were on his face. He was also getting used to being more close to his wife than he had in years. He still worked like he used to though, his usual fourteen hour days, working day in and day out. It was sightly concerning to most people like his wife and daughter. This was one such day, he had been awake since the previous day and he was working on something very large and technical.
