Slight Matchmaking Refinement - 03/10/2016
[b]Effective immediately in all Crucible playlists[/b]: If your matchmaking cycle lasts several minutes, we've loosened a restriction that will allow you to find matches more easily. We do [b]not[/b] expect that this will impact the majority of players. In rare instances, this may result in matches with a wider variance in skill (i.e. More of us will get our asses kicked, but the connections to our ass-kickers will be good). The connection-based emphasis implemented by [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44422/7_Destiny-Hot-Fix---03082016]Hot Fix 2.1.1.3[/url] is still in effect. This change applies to a small percentage of our players who were having a hard time finding a match.

6 AntwortenThe sad part is that the number of people playing isn't simply declining because of games like division, it's also because of this matchmaking BS and the endless lies about making it CB, when every day it's more SB. Does halo do this each month or every few weeks? Bungie honestly has a core group of players (like those of us that care enough to be on this forum, posting in this thread,...) and they're even pushing those people away. The last of my trials/pvp friends left this weekend (pve clan left long ago) and do you know what game they went to? Nothing! They're on Netflix and Hulu. They're forced to leave the game they enjoyed (content drought and all) because of this matchmaking BS. It's sad.

The reason why Matchmaking is shit is because noone is playing this game anymore. Thats why you are being matched with players from all over the world. There aren't enough players for matchmaking. Do you get it. Its not Bungie's fault specifically. Its the fault of lack of players. I mean of course Bungie could come out with more content sooner, so technically it was their fault.

1 AntwortenGot kicked back to orbit in the middle of a ToO match when we came back 4-4. Had to cope with insane laggy players in ToO. Stopped reading news feeds for some time now cause there is no fking news. Now you guys bring Twitch streams about the music that's being used ? Who gives a shit ? Fix the PvP and add content. If you have nothing to report then don't. All I know is you lost a huge player base to The Division including me.

Ok so you guys supposedly made changes to matchmaking, but I have not seen an imprpvement. I play from NYC, and when I run the xbox multiplayer connection test I get back a 50 Mbps down and 65 up with an 80 ms latency and 0 packet loss. Yet, I am seeing laggers in virtually every crucible match. Usually they come in the form of 2 or 3 red bars in a 6v6 match, though I have recently noticed green bar matches where at least one guy is teleporting around. On top of that, this damage referee you put in is broken. I saw a red bar last week that no one could hit, but he could land a fusion grenade on your face or a snipe to your head every time you ran into him. Honestly, this is so frustrating as player. Whatever you guys have done needs to be reevaluated. Moreover, how about a server script that constantly looks for people in a match with a poor ping to everyone else and just kicks them. Sure, it will suck for the guy playing on wifi while he streams netflix, listens to music, and downloads gigs of porn while in crucible, but it will make everyone else happy.

Matchmaking doesn't work very well when there are only like 100 people online because you have given the community no hope. My guess is that you're afraid to communicate about the spring update because all it does is update old raids and/or PoE. Not sure where all that emote money went. Oh well, I'll just hotline bling my way outta here.

18 AntwortenNot sure why people are complaining about matchmaking with people who are more skilled- I'd rather get better by playing people who are better on a good connection- there's nothing worse in crucible than dying from someone who teleports everywhere

Matchmaking just got worse yet again this weekend. Playing solo and placed in many lopsided games that should have been mercy ruled. Most Control games were completely unplayable. Red bar connections ruin it for everyone and many opponents take little to no damage after a full clip. One shot by Last Word and Mida multiple times. The lag is not getting better.

4 AntwortenI dont normally post , nor do i complain. This new hot fix for matchmaking update has actually made it impossible to be competitive. Here is an example.......playing clash, my team has all green bars and opposition has 4 red bars.....now im using a 293 tlaloc, my super is up....and ive just emptied a whole round rounds into this other guys head and nothing.....not a feckin scratch, he approched me....had to use my angry purple space magic on him... And guess what???? No damage on him which left him free to smite me down!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 So my question to you is....how you going to bring the enjoyment back into this game????? Personally...i like playing destiny but at this moment i am about to shelve the game and play something that actually gives me enjoyment and not make me want to punch a hole through my television. Remove breaking the teams every ten minutes.most of the time people leave or teams are reformed so its a different game every time.or teams stay as they are and people play differently!ever thought of that?how about people on the losing team wanting a rematch? And for the love of god UNDO what you did with TTK. Loot drop rates.Pvp MM.activity variety.Everything peaked with HoW and then you broke your own game.

How about real content. You can make all the fan kids happy with emotes and crappy weekend races. Come on! My son gave me a hard time when I played all the time. Now, you have nothing. Nada. No, I have not snapped my disc in half, but havr stopped playing all together until I see some kind of REAL comitment. A saddened old gamer.
