But thats no fun, so everyone and everything dies :)
-
But the Halo side can survive in Shield worlds, also if the galaxy's are not merged they could just fire the Halos at the Star Wars galaxy as Halos act like artillery rather then bombs.
Im pretty sure the halo rings arnt mobile ------- They are Halo Cryptum; ch. 37 As we approached this magnificence, a thin silvery arc rose into view above and millions of kilometers beyond the southern axis. My blood cooled and my heart seemed to thud to a stop. Slowly looming in an orbit slightly downstar from the capital, staggered in perspective like the entrance to a tunnel, eleven great rings had been arranged in neat, precise parking orbits. Halos. The combined might of the Master Builder’s weapons—all but one—had been moved to within a few million kilometers of the center of Forerunner power, separated by a minimum of distance and looped together by the slenderest curves of hard light. ------- Plus the star wars people could hyper drive out of the galaxy, unsc could too but im not sure if its in the cannon
------- They can't get out of the galaxy in time.

I dont see where in that text it says they can physically move to a new area on its own.
-
The Halo rings move under their own power at 2:35. http://youtu.be/RRSda99SS78

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if the rings are controlled by the ark or have some kind of autonomous programing.
-
In this case it was auto systems.
-
But how fast can they travel?
-
Their acceleration has never been stated to my knowledge.
-
Hold on. I will get more of the quote.

Im pretty sure the halo rings arnt mobile
-
In Cryptum, Halo rings move through a portal to escape destruction.
-
Eh, close enough.
