People call it the perfect Destiny, yet everyone I hear about it irl complain and say they're already bored.
Can any current or ex ''hardcore'' Destiny players tell me how it is 100% honest?
I've seen it for 12 hours of which I played 5, alot of things were fun but it was indeed boring. first impression 7,5/10
after lots of great input I think the conclusion is; It's fun for now but won't last that long. Unless they DO provide enough dlc's and listen to complaints. Kind of the same as Destiny, although destiny DID drop the ball on that front.
It is not the perfect Destiny. I would say it is an evolution of Mass Effect, which I loved.
-
30 Antworten100% better than ttk. It's a blast. So much to do. To see. And the game changes in the dz. It's a blast. I'm a reformed desticle too btw check my profile over 1000 hours. I loved destiny. But it was destroyed by greed and laziness
-
11 AntwortenIt's not perfect by any means, but it's still fun. The problem is that all the gun fights are the same so it doesn't have much replayability. Only certain things can be compared to destiny, overall the actual game play and mechanics are totally different from destiny
-
Bearbeitet von TeddyBundy: 3/10/2016 2:50:34 PMIt's awesome. Don't listen to the Desticles that don't accept any other game. It's a different game, the gunfights are more intense and you're no superhero that f*cks up everything without a challenge. Darkzone is also an awesome experience any much more intense than any Destiny pvp match. 3rd person isn't everyones choice and it's a bit paced due to the cover system...but it feels just right imo. The vanilla Division also has much more content. If you're into 3rd person cover shooters with a good amount of rpg and coop elements and an intense pvp system, it's basically the best choice on the market. It's really funny when people say it won't last long and they're still playing Destiny, lol

2 AntwortenGameplay wise it holds up like Destiny. Fun with friends, feels very repetitive alone. End game needs to hold it together. Honestly I'd give it a 7/10 as its what I expected it to be, so it didn't fail me there.
-
Already level 15, seems good so far
-
Man I'm loving it. It's great to play while waiting for new content from destiny.
-
I've seen it and it doesn't really cater to my play style like Destiny does, I don't think I'll be getting it.
-
I'm having a lot of fun, I feel like once you max out it'll get boring but they keep talking about throwing events and DLC's in our faces like every month and I'm sure they will raise the level eventually so as long as they keep there promises (unlike another company that will not be named) this game should be pretty awesome for a while. I still play destiny btw, not trying to bash destiny or anything lol
-
A better name for it would be The Diversion. It's a decent filler for the content drought Bungie has left us with, but that's all really.
-
Bearbeitet von AJ: 3/10/2016 2:40:56 PMPeople still play that game? didnt everyone get to max level in like a day.

It's a different game, yes it has elements that are similar to destiny but in really it is a different game, people, imo, enter the game expecting destiny, when they don't get destiny they complain. Yes the bosses are bullet sponges, what boss isn't in destiny, the missions do echo destinies patrols, but there are more variety in the division, the division is more like an mmo than destiny could ever dream to be, there is match making everywhere, lfg type match making in social and non social areas.... At the end of the day I like both and I will continue to play both, I think bungo will learn a lot from the division and expand d2, I am hopeful that destinies expansions will sate appetites until d2 Just don't play it expecting to play destiny, expect to play a Tom Clancy shooter with loot and an mmo! I can't wait to start playing the dark zone! The dark zone is where the line between destiny and the division are greyed, in destiny you grind the story to achieve level X then the real game opens up, pvp, raids, strikes etc, that's the same for the division! The real game starts at level 30, roughly 24hr of play will get you there

Love it 10x more than bungies game
-
Tried to make my character last night...kept getting kicked off the servers before I could finish....turned it off and played some Destiny....
-
It's good and it's a laugh with friends but personally it's not as good as destiny but it's worth getting and playing
-
3 AntwortenI love it. It blows destiny out of the water. Only here becuz I'm taking my morning shit and came to piss of a few fanboys.
-
7 AntwortenPretty cool game... NOT A DESTINY KILLER by any means... The controls/movements in The Division is kinda Janky hard to explain. All I can say thou is The Division is a good game filler while Bungie can tell us what's really next . Destiny die hard will be back regardless.

Bearbeitet von LittleAngryOne: 3/10/2016 2:25:35 PMKinda amazing
coming from someone who has literally spent thousands of hours in destiny
1 AntwortenIt's funn! I like both games and wouldn't say one is better than the other. They are kind of the same, but you approach each game differently. Destiny is more run and gun and Division is more cover, shoot, more cover etc. Kind of like an rpg Gears of War. What I like about the Division is that there is matchmaking for everything. In Destiny you have to work to find people, and if you are like me and not used to raids, you just make everyone in the fireteams angry so I never get to enjoy raids or Finnish them. The catch is with The Division, you can go on the raids but it can put you with some pretty crappie people as well, but you still get to play the raid. If that makes sense
-
1 AntwortenMy fireteam has been having a blast. Can't wait for them to open up the endgame content. Even though I am no where close to that level. Lol! In my opinion. It is a great companion to Destiny. We can jump to either one depending on our mood.

It's really fun I suggest you try it out
-
Fun, but won't kill Destiny. The Dark Zone is amazing.

Hardcore Destiny here. You can look into my hours logged ETC. At least. I was hardcore. Til I got ridiculously bored of everything, and my friends left, and soon thereafter I began to see the light. Dude the games fun. It's an RPG first. So things are bullet spongy, and might I add, a lot less spongy if you can connect head shots. Anyway. The loot game is awesome. Customization. Rerolling your gear. It's like Kinda like maybe, Diablo and the Tom Clancy series had a baby, if you will. There's a good bit to do. Enough to keep you busy. Unless you're like me and have friends that have been waiting for this for a long time now, to cure the wailing Destiny blues. People who complain about the dark zone: literally, 98% of the time I don't get attacked by other players. The PVE here is just fuggen tougher than the normal New York maps. Usually it's a group of people, all wanting good loot (which is definitely there, may I add), and typically you all will work together to kill enemies, OR, work together, to find and hunt down the other players that have decided to go Rogue. It's mad fun. Give it a try. If you like the base game, grab the season pass for the DLC. So far, it has satisfied where Destiny has not. Story, loot, customization, a good connection to your own character and others around you. My non-professional rating: 8.5/10.

2 AntwortenI haven't hit endgame yet but I'm really enjoying the game. Maybe my only complaint is one vanilla destiny players will understand. Hardmode mission enemies are insanely bulletspongey. ...When it takes a 4 man team shot to drop a guy with a baseball bat something's wonky. But I think Ubisoft will balance that in the future. Dark zone is fun so far, but it was easier to find players there in the beta. Which I don't mind, but do find weird. The social features are very nice. Teaming up is easy with matchmaking nodes at every major mission, safe house, and even in the map hud. All told, once Ubisoft irons out the kinks, I see the division having some legs.

Perfect destiny? Who said that? Its nothing like destiny
-
Overall has less content than destiny but the two games together fill the gaps left by the other
