I have been on the forums for a couple months now and over that time, I have found that many people are judged on skill based on their KD, and all the time that I have had destiny I did not give the smallest shit about my KD. I just want to see what you guys think.

Bearbeitet von JacksGrapes: 3/10/2016 5:17:52 AMYes it helps. I don't care to a point where I will only play with very solid PvP friends to keep it high. I play with my buddies who I enjoy playing with and can help get flawless. I have helped plenty of randoms and gotten randoms there first flawless with not asking for requirements. Having a high k/d / ELO helps you find other solid people faster and makes the game more enjoyable when you are not trying to carry people. Takes me no time at all to find a solid trials group because of my stats. It goes the same for raids. Must have Toucn/Spindle be above 315 light level. I bet a solid chunk of those people, who said they didn't care about PvP k/d, use those requirements when they are searching for raid. Why cause it makes the raid go faster. Even though PVE is easy. I don't have a touch BTW. So yes I do care about my k/d cause it is a solid deterrent for skill level. This is all coming from my own experience. I am sure some of you have there own experience. Also have noticed those who say they don't care are usually pretty bad or given up on the fact they won't be a top 5% player

I don't care at all. That's why my trials kd is probably a whole lot better than my actual kd lol
-
Nope, I just run no land beyond, because zero effes are given
I love that gun
-
Not for normal modes. In trials of Osiris, yes
-
Don't care. I likely could get better but I mainly PVP for Iron Banner so I don't get a lot of time in the crucible.
-
Don't care about it. A low KD dosent mean you suck. Most of my Friends have a -1.0kd yet they have gone flawless or they are really good.

Not at all. I win most shoot outs, regardless if I think I should be using my primary or secondary. I never have a problem there. But, I like to use weapons most people shun, like First Curse and fusion rifles, so I probably wouldn't have a k/d as high some others regardless. Also, I like playing intoxicated. Any video game is much more fun that way. Let's be honest.

coming from a person who is rank 40 dtr in trials , with a negative kd. I'll say kd doesn't make up all the stats for considering skill. I have a .84 I'd in trials but for the past 2 months have held a 2.0 . But since I have so many killsvsdeaths .it takes forever for it to go up, also I have a .95 average in general. But go ahead and check my game history for trials.....I consistently average a 2.0, actually lets say past month and a half. I bought a monitor. Also just deleted my Warnock today to start fresh with a kd just for giggles

1 AntwortenOne game my kd is 4.7 with 23 kills the next game my jd be something like .67 and 5 kills. So i dont know.
-
Nah, I only care about how well I do against other players. Am I improving, am I holding my own, how many times must I melee this guy before he even turns around & shoots me (lol). I am there to test myself & improve my skills, not get some meaningless stat up.
-
Only care about the kills.
-
Only in Halo 5
-
Not a bit.
-
Not really.
-
As long as I get above a 2.0, I'm happy. Although thats not very ideal. The one thing I hate the most in this game, is dying. It gets in my nerves so bad.
-
I use NLB and eidolon and hawkmoon and all that for fun in crucible. So obviously I don't care.
-
A tiny bit... As long as I go positive I am happy :D
-
I do care to an extent. Unless if you are running and coordinating with an entire clan then you can't really expect to win every match. Heck, quite a few times I ended up at the top of my team's scoreboard despite us losing a match, and I'm not even that good(smells of casual). The way I figure it, I might as well focus on not dying too much and not feeding the enemy team kills in risky situations. If you end up with a negative k/d by the end of the match it doesn't help your conscience knowing that you hindered your own team, even if they were a group of randoms. Decent sportsmanship, yeah?
-
I care about it but I'm not obsessed with it. I think I'm up at 2.09? Pretty proud of that and the only "OP" weapon I used was MIDA but then everyone started using it so I stopped because apparently I'm a "try hard" for using my favourite year 1 weapon
-
Just as long as it's positive
-
Just look at my stats. Hell no I don't care about my k/d. On my Titan I like to run around shoulder charging everyone in sight
-
If I did I wouldn't let my 6 yr old play
