Title says it all...Division wasn't as good as people hoped for... What's next in line?
Edit:
The game is extremely dry right now and I agree on that.
I'm not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I just really enjoy playing the game and want to see it succeed like most of you .
Edit
When people post this
"How can the Division kill something that's already dead"
how can CoD kill something that's already dead
how can Fallout 4 kill something that's already dead
how can Battlefront kill something that's already dead
Destiny is dry right now but no where near dead I my opinion. I still see posts in the recruitment forums to get to raids and nightfalls.
Just because you stopped doesn't mean others did aswell
I never said there is anything wrong with playing another game. I've been playing rocket league once I get a little bored to freshen things up
This feedback is amazing with both sides arguing over. But I've noticed not many people really think the Divison will last over a year and a half

6 AntwortenI find these posting interesting. I, for one, am a year one player, but even up to a few months ago; I was losing interest. I have been playing the division, and I do agree, it is a fun, new, fresh game, however they are not the same beast. I personally love both, but here is my question: What is your definition of "dead" for a game?
-
Free will
-
Destiny 2 hopefully
-
1 AntwortenBungie is doing a good job of killing it themselves...
-
2 AntwortenDaredevil season 2.
-
Destiny does a fine job of killing itself, only a matter of time.

Bearbeitet von The_Metador: 3/13/2016 9:00:13 PMTom Clancy games come from his books and as a result his world is fun to take part in even if a lot of people never read them. I don't think the Clancy-verse will die but it's also not meant to kill other games. It's always been it's own thing. Destiny is similar. The only thing that comes to mind that would impact Destiny is an open world Mass Effect game that uses a No Man's Sky level of exploration and makes all the races playable will all of their unique benefits. The lore is there but balance in a versus setting will be tough. The powers are extreme and were never made with counters to one another. That Mass Effect game would and has already in the past made for an awesome co-op game but they probably would not be able to create the pvp experience people want that also satisfies what the series is known for.

Bearbeitet von OmegaPrimeHatten: 3/13/2016 8:53:46 PMEach of the mentioned games have dwindled destiny player base (this isn't based on any actual facts) but I have noticed matchmaking wait times have dramatically increased for me. Sometimes I walk out the living room, cooks some dinner come back eat then wash the dishes and I'm still match making

People who say x game will kill Destiny are like the loons who believe in 2012 and Nibiru. Firstly it's a game, secondly it's life or death don't really matter much.

Bearbeitet von Geovenchy: 3/13/2016 7:32:58 PMThe community mindset on this site is so weird. They never seem to learn. "Battlefront will kill Destiny" *Destiny remains* "Fallout 4 will kill Destiny" *Destiny remains* "The Division will kill Destiny" *Destiny remains* "So which game will Kill Destiny next?" When will you guys learn that's just not the way things work? When Destiny 2 releases it will ultimately determine the fate of Destiny. (Funny sentence) Did any other movie kill The Matrix? No it was the -blam!-ing sequels. This is not like religion. It's not like you have to convert to another game and only play that one solely. Yes, there are few people playing The Division icky ding popular Destiny players but that's just because it's a new game. Players aren't tied to sponsorships in which they can't play other games. Give it time and they'll go right back to Destiny.
-
Give it time, Division hasn't been out for that long.
-
Wrong. The division took a huge amount of destiny players and still is.
-
Destiny will kill destiny with no new content Then destiny 2 will kill destiny 1
-
Destiny 2.
-
nothing. destiny died when bungie neglected their player base, lied to it, and now shoves around, probably a not even worth it, spring update. No game will kill it because its already dead from the makers themselves.
