Since the Division didn't kill Destiny what will?
Title says it all...Division wasn't as good as people hoped for... What's next in line?

The game is extremely dry right now and I agree on that.
I'm not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I just really enjoy playing the game and want to see it succeed like [b]most[/b] of you .

Destiny is dry right now but no where near dead I my opinion. I still see posts in the recruitment forums to get to raids and nightfalls.

One thing is certain though, Division will never kill Destiny, not even close. Its too flawed of a game to be killing anything. I dont see how 1 game can kill another game when they arent anything alike

Destiny killed Destiny for me. It's ok though, The Division, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank and No Man's Sky will be there for me.

I hate seeing the 'x will kill y' posts. Firstly, every 'x will kill destiny' post I have seen is dead wrong, because there are still people playing destiny (having said that, the numbers are much reduced due to people having had enough of the poor decisions bungie have made). Secondly, most of the people who make such posts are such fanboys for a given game they think it's the best ever, no matter what, and they aren't going to accept people can like other games in addition to their own. There's a post floating around out there at the moment stating that on April 12 the division will die after 'all the people who jumped over will crawl back to destiny', never mind that people will still play the division, and even (god forbid) [i]both[/i] games. If destiny dies, it'll be bungie flicking the switch off after everything they've done to put it life support, not another game killing it.

1 AntwortenPlease, stop using the phrase "X will kill Y", it makes you look stupid. Only kids who don't have a clue about how the gaming community works would think of it that way. ALL games eventually fall out of popularity. It isn't because the game sucks or other games are so much better. Grow up already and just play whatever the hell you want for as long as you want.

Destiny won't get killed, it will be at a stalemate like it is now, but since a new dlc is coming up people will start playing it again. And it will repeat it self in destiny 2

Let's be realistic Destiny won't "die" because it will always have people playing it and that is fine if you like Destiny but you must acknowledge it's flaws and there are many such as lack of content and story at launch, cut content (TDB), extortionate Dlc prices which add little to no new content, extremely poor handling of the game for example lying and the disrespect given to the fans. In my opinion Destiny is dead as a game but alive as a business every decision that has been made regarding the "game" has been about making money for the least amount of content, where's the passion to make the game as the best in can be in the eyes of a developer? The answer is it's either gone or being stifled by some corporate yes man. The best decision they have made so far is not releasing any new content until Destiny 2 even that came with a business angle with the introduction of Micro Transactions, they can try and rebuild the "game" but for me they've left it too late, they've destroyed the trust of their fans.
