2 AntwortenBearbeitet von EwCringe: 3/10/2016 8:07:45 PMNo, all the people saying it sucks are the people who said it would before release. In other words, they're being pessimistic just to be pessimistic. The combat is fun and the visuals are great. I love searching houses, I love having my secondary rifle on my back (attached to my backpack), I love not-being a demigod and having to approach enemies tactically, I love running from cover to cover, I love how the enemy ai is somewhat intelligent, etc. The game does what it does well. People are hating it for what it's not instead of enjoying it for what it is. It doesn't feel repetitive (yet) and the missions are enjoyable. Bosses don't feel like a chore, and teammates have to work efficiently and compliment each other's actions. It's not a first person shooter. It's a tactic-oriented combat system with a heavy reliance on cover and working to the best of your abilities to approach different situations. It's a post-apocalypse search and clear game. You either like it or you don't. But it's not a bad game. Not by a long shot.

I just hit max level and got my first high end weapon. It's a pistol and i'm a riot shield + pistol guy so that's awesome. The story missions are 9,999x better than Destiny. There are a lot of shielded enemies. If you are running into bullet sponges, it just means your gear isn't up to snuff. The health the enemies have is reasonable, and enemy shields don't regenerate. The levelling system / loot system is much better than Destiny. The story is far better. The open world is far bigger. I still need to see what the endgame looks like though. If they do it right, it will be a great game. If not, could be short-lived. Destiny has better guns and better gunplay. The "classes" feel more fun in Destiny. Everything else in The Division is better. Once I got over the fact that Division is a lot more tactical and team oriented than Destiny, I don't miss the gunplay that much. Division is an RPG first and a shooter second. Destiny is a shooter first and an RPG (a badly designed one) second.

1 AntwortenPeople on twitch? You mean AngryJo?
-
People like to go against whatever the current "hype" game is and hate on everyone who enjoys it. It's a fun game, it's not destiny, there are a lot of cool features.
-
1 AntwortenWho said it was bad? Like two people? Lol
-
I love it too, the people hating on it probably only hate it because you can die very easily and it actually takes careful planning to successfully get through a mission without dying, it takes more skill than other games
-
No, it's a fantastic game a
-
Like Fallout 4, it received a lot of hate, but it is ultimately a really good game. Not perfect but good.

1 AntwortenNo. As an honest gamer who loved Destiny for a long time among other great games lately like fallout, witcher, just cause 3, etc... it's a ton of fun right now. I could maybe see how over time it could maybe get repetitive like the destiny grind but I enjoyed that grind for many hours and if you have friends to play with, the dark zone will entertain you for a long time. Idk what lines or bugs or server issues people are talking about. I've got about 10 hours in and haven't seen a single bug or broken mechanic. I'll at least be playing this for a solid month but it's too early to tell what kind of longevity it will have.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Logfish111: 3/9/2016 9:37:37 AMNo it's just one of those games which people hype up beyond belief, then it turns out to be mediocre like I knew it would be and everyone else acts disappointed.

8 AntwortenSome bad things I've heard about the game: You have to wait in line like you're at the DMV Limited amount of character customization Dark zone is fun yet gets old quick Lack of any real story Basically every mission is "go here and kill this and then click A" Server randomly boots you in the middle of a mission Graphics are the same as Watch Dogs DLC's are behind massive paywalls Text can be hard to read in game Atmosphere is bland Enemies can be complete bullet sponges

I love it!

It's amazing !
-
it reminds me of socom mixed with gta with a dash of mmo

1 AntwortenIt's not an FPS at all. It's not an MMO either (groups work the same as Destiny, you have to load when you join friends), it's very much a tactical real-time TPS/RPG. That said, I'm having fun so far. The random loot is a lot better than Borderlands, everything is useful on some level and there aren't very many wasted perks. However, trying to build a gear set that synergizes with your spec in the endgame is going to be a challenge. I'd recommend the game.

14 AntwortenIt's amazing what makes it even better is the preorder bonus, the sawed off shotgun is totally sick and looks badass and when you wear the motorcycle armor you look like the terminator 11/10

Just the servers

1 Antwortenim pretty sure the general consensus is that this game is great. who is saying it sucks besides destiny kids who dont even have the game?
-
Not at all man, im thoroughly enjoying it. It's not a game changer, per se, and there's plenty of stuff to iron out in the coming months, but I have yet to second guess the purchase
-
The game awesome man.
-
It's in the top three watched on twitch......watchu talkin bout Willis?!?
-
The only people saying it's bad are on these forums and even then they're in the minority.
-
It's safe to buy the game now since most connection issue have been fixed
-
It not "that bad". Only connection issues I had so far was my internet cutting out in me randomly. Other that, no issues. I feel that pert of the problem is that Destiny gave games like the Division a bad rep so now a lot of hate is justt bandwagon hate

4 AntwortenThe Division is a mess. People getting booted with the "mike" error code and once you get back into the game you're back to level 1 and lost all of your gear. Teammates getting booted near the end of a mission- having to wait for them to rejoin you then they have to run all the way through to meet up again which can take up to ten minutes. It's either that or let them get screwed out of the XP and complete it with out him/her. My favorite was getting booted while in the dead zone. Once I got back online the only entrance available for some weird reason was the one furthest from my friends. Trying to meet up with them I got killed by AI 4 levels above me (I was solo) then I took a different route and got killed by players who went rogue for no reason- I had nothing to extract. Everyone I played with yesterday got booted at least twice. Some up to 6 or 7 times. Very rage inducing. If it weren't for all the booting, it's a fun game but not really spectacular.
