Class exclusive weapons
In my opinion, some weapons just shouldn't be used by certain classes.
Such as:
NLB, honestly, this should be a Hunter weapon because; Titans are meant to excel at CQC, so why should they be using the NLB over something more effective like Fabian, Necrochasm, and MIDA, and the warlock doesn't feel like an appropriate class for the gun meant for quickscopers.
Universal Remote, by far my favorite shotgun (though sadly it's outranged by the Chaperone :( ) this gun [b]screams[/b] Titan to me and I hadn't had much luck using it on my warlock or hunter compared to my Titan.
Bad Juju, I'm not gonna lie, when I started my warlock I limited my primaries to autos and pulses, because they felt like the best weapon types for him, and the Bad Juju feels like it was [b]made[/b] for the space wizards.
Let me know your thoughts and any guns you think should be class exclusive.

As much as I like the idea, we need to be realistic and unfortunately this would just introduce even more hideous imbalance to pvp, and would restrict freedom of choice in pve

Or, Titans can do whatever the heck they want cause it's [i]their legend[/i] and they decided they wanted to use an exotic weapon meant for everybody.

hunters-handcannons(pulserifles maybe) snipers titans-shotguns(pulserifles maybe)auto rifles warlocks-i dunno the skirts plus guns plus that melee tho, i feel like they dont rock that weapons and ninja swords look

2 AntwortenNo. It took them months to fix the titan exotic and even then they have to change the impact rating when Front Line Procs... Meanwhile have a damn scout rifle that can speed up its RoF with 0 penalty to impact. And I don't think I've seen the hunters even use their exotic.

Yes, but only if they were balanced. As it stands, tlaloc is leagues above fabian strategy and ace of spades. If they were even in power level, id agree, but they arent. As for the other weapons, bad juju is leagues better then NLB and universal remote. We would be in the same predicament as we are now, but worse. That would give warlocks 2 weapons that are exclusive and much better to use then the 2 exclusives available to the other classes

I wish I can transfer my Tlaloc. Oh no! I can't. Damn. I wish I can transfer my still piercer. Shyt! Again can't. =\ Tlaloc is amazing but I feel it wouldn't fit with any other class though.

Not the ones you mentioned, keep those as is. However, moving forward, I would love to see more new weapons be class specific. By more I mean like 2 or 3 per expansion, let's not get too crazy with this lol.

2 AntwortenWell, i agree on the more class guns, but you can't give a certain class a certain class of weapons, since the playstyle is important. For example, on all my characters i am usually at a longer range, and don't really use shotguns or even auto rifles, and just got TLW but don't like it as well as the mida. It depends on your playstyle. A gunslinger or nightstalker hunter may fight up close, and a striker titan may fight long range.

2 AntwortenMore "New" weapons. If we were playing [u]those[/u] rules, then all hand cannons will be most likely restricted to hunters. So that includes the last word, thorn and hawkmoon. Imagine the shitstorm on the forums. "WHY CAN ONLY HUNTERS USE THE GOOD CRUCIBLE GUNS". If this was to only affect new guns which came out later and not guns which have been long out, then I'd have full support. Other than that, yes. It'd be nice to force players into some variety to test all the newest weapons.
