Hehe...well it wasn't me, had a few friends help me look into it. We think it was cayde, but not for certain. But then again, with him being a prankster it would be expected, but he has way to much respect for anothers gun...this I know for a fact.
Showed him one of mine the gunsmith built for me and he treated it with more respect than any other I had seen, well except maybe for the man who built it. On top of that, I know cayde has a lot of respect for others, especially saladin...although he would never admit to it.
I think someone set him up...but I can't bring this to saladin, he hates me...and the other vanguards are too serious, and cayde may do bad things to who ever did it.

I could look into it if you want... New Monarchy is essentially the police force within the City. I'll keep this quiet of course. Only me and a Justicar would know.

I think they stalk each other, and the hatred towards one another is a cover for how they feel. One time looking for eris no one knew where she was...except for cayde. If anything she would probably know where cayde was...she knew about her ship and still let him do it.

She knows a lot about many people... As far as I know, she has genuine dislike of him. Mostly because he doesn't take her seriously... But then again, Cayde doesn't take a lot of things seriously. In any case, it was most likely some Guardian who felt cocky, and slipped into Saladin's area and tried to cover his tracks by blaming you or Cayde. Regardless, Justicar Ilia will handle it.
