The single biggest mistake Bungie made, and I seem to say it at least once a day on this forum, is eliminate elemental primaries. The VOG had the best weapons. Why? Because not only did they all have a element attached, but they all seem to have the best perks. That's the exact way to go about building a loot system for what is supposed to be the reward for beating the hardest thing the game has to offer. Those weapons brought us back into the vault 50+ times. We had to have them. Check my KF completion rate. It's like ten or something. And I've dismantled many of the guns because they're shit. I haven't even bothered to beat HM because the only reward is a chance at max light after many many many many many completions. And even that doesn't guarantee anything. The only one I want is the scout but whatever. And that's a big issue. Day one who HAD to have everything in year one. This year, whatever.
