If you're going to use y1 guns in Crucible....
THEN GO PLAY THE -blam!-ING CLASSIC MODES, THEY'RE THERE FOR A REASON!!!!!!

Edit: Looks like there's some stubborn mother-blam!-ers here. Not here to start fights, I just thought I'd give you a dose of common sense, cuz, ya know, there's classic weapons, and there's literally a playlist called "CLASSIC 6V6". I bet you guys take airsoft guns to nerf wars and say it's completely fair.
Edit2: This is mostly directed at Thorn users in case you didn't know. Cause really I don't care if you use VoC, or Fatebringer, they're balanced.

Unfortunately if your starting a new character then you weapon choices are rather limited till level 40. I kept a few y1 weapons so I could level up quickly in the crucible and it's been working out great. I realize the frustration with deal with certain y1 weapons like thorn but the game mode of "classic" doesn't determine what weapons are used. If anything more y2 content is used in classic PvP than y1.

3 AntwortenI just started using my thorn again and necro to specifically piss people off since when I see killed by mida, mida, mida, mida, 1kstare, mida, mida, 1kstare,etc it gets a little old so why not pay back a little bit of the salt and op juice.. I actually had to do the bullshit steps and get the bounty to get my thorn unlike these y2 players who are given them so I think I deserve to use my thorn freely...

I'd rather take them into a game where I won't most likely stomp everyone because I have access to all the best guns like 1000 yard stare. I'll still use it where I want.

I believe the Classic playlist was created because there was a huge number of players who were asking for the old maps, and not for the reason that they can use old/Y1 weapons. Destiny Crucible does not have enabled level advantages. Anyone can go in there and still wreck with Khostov. If you wrote this post to complain about Thorn, use a better premise. Besides, Thorn is still a really great gun. It's not a 1 or 2 shot kill anymore like it was when it came out. Even without the poison, the gun will still be amazing. And this is why people still use it.
