Everyone's First Play through.
There are 26 missions in the main campaign.

In a Free Update a new PvE mission type is introduced and they are called Incursions. Rewards will include some of the best Gear in the game and possibly Phoenix Credits(similar to strange coins).
Challenge Mode will be available for the Incursion.
Squad Loot Trading will be introduced.(You can only trade loot during your current Co-Op session).

More Dark Zone.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Assignments.
Monthly Events for season pass holders.
Fall-winter 2016:
Expansion 3 will Drop adding new Story Missions and a PvE mission type that has a mix of Horde Mode and Tower Defense. Maybe another Incursion will be added.
More Dark Zone.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Assignments.
Monthly Events for season pass holders.
Beyond that nothing has been announced.
The Late summer content plans are somewhat unconfirmed, but the talk surrounding it in both marketing and developer interviews lead me to think it's something along the lines of a Game Mode that you can opt into, that turns the game map into a Dark Zone.
That is all Agents, good luck out there!
Edit: Dark Zone Activity
Supply Drops
Dark Zone Supply Drops are a global event where the Strategic Homeland Defense agency air drops multiple supply caches to assist Division agents.
Supply drops will occur multiple times over the course the day.
The supply drops will contain non-contaminated gear of all types that will be ready to use without the need for extraction.
These supply drops will be heavily sought after by other agents and enemy factions that roam the Dark Zone, so be ready for resistance.
Edit: Daily and Weekly Assignments
Global and Personal Assignments are automatically obtained when you log in and can be tracked from the map via the menu called “Mission Overview”.
Assignments are available for a limited time, after which, they will be replaced by different assignments.
Assignments come in four different categories:
Combat
Dark Zone
Crafting
Main Missions
Most assignments can be completed while playing alone but some will require enlisting other agents assistance to complete.
