I was improvising on the guitar (those are my riffs that you hear) and he was improvising lyrics, which is why the first minute or so is just guitar and vocals. I played a pretty raunchy solo that sounded similar to the one Joel did on the record but they're not the same (mine was better lol). https://youtu.be/vYnb4SmSafQ He is a friend of my cousin's and I was over at his place jamming on New Year's, I didn't even know who Joel Plaskett was at the time. Pretty cool that he put that jam on a record. I jammed with him a few times after that. We are both very big Velvet Underground fans and when Lou Reed died in 2013 his band did a Lou Reed tribute at a festival, and called me up on stage to do a cover of Oh Sweet Nuthin which was my fav VU song. Sadly, there is no video of it though

I was out finishing up an airsoft match, when my holster for my sidearm started being weird (long story short, it broke and made me sad). After the game, instead of putting my sidearm in the holster (since it was broken) I put it in my jacket I brought, and would put it in my jeep with the rest of my stuff later. Once I was all packed up, I began to head home. The field I play at is about an hour away, so around 20-30mins through my drive I decided to stop for something to drink. Gas station is empty, I walk into the store and make my way to the drinks and grab myself a Mtn. Dew. I walk up to the counter and sit it down. "Anything else?" Asked the cashier. She was probably 35-40 years old, fat, like 300 pound fat. I told her "no," and then reached into my jacket as she told me how much my drink was. As I felt around for my wallet (my jacket has pockets on the inside) I felt something weird. "Dafuq is this?" I thought, or didn't think, as I pulled out my replica 1911 pistol. The cashier froze. I froze, realizing what I had done. I painted over the orange tip so you couldn't tell the difference between my replica and a real gun. After what felt like an eternity of silence, I said, "ummmmm." Then slid the gun back in my jacket, threw down $2 and ran away. Surprised there were no cops on my doorstep later.

1 AntwortenOn Tuesday, I was finishing up some work at a milling machine and cut my finger on a mill bit that was sitting upright in a holder with other bits, perfectly motionless, when I reached for a handle to move the table. If it was someone else telling me they did this, I would find it hard to believe they could do something so dumb.
