You know how people are getting tired of running raid after raid and getting gear that always has terrible light? You know how some people end up being forever 319? I have a solution to this problem! It will allow players to reach max lvl more easily, but it will not be as easy to reach max lvl as it was in the HoW loot system. Plus you won't have to change anything in the current loot system!
Let's say you run the KF raid. Every time you kill a boss you are guaranteed a drop called a Shard of Light. What the Shard of Light does is it allows you to increase one of your gears light lvl by one. So even if you got loot with crap light, you would still be able to increase your light level. This would ensure that every time you ran the raid, you would at least be increasing your light by a little bit. I think it's a genius idea!
Edit: Maybe it would also be a good idea to implement it in the nightfall loot table. BTW some of your ideas sound really good. Keep them coming, maybe Bungie will take inspiration from them.
Edit 2: I personally miss the old loot system from VoG and CE. I'd rather have that than the current loot system.

Forever 319? Bitch plz go back to forever 29. I'm lvl 319 if I tried any raid in my life I would be 320 you know why? Reason bungie gives free 320 gear if you do the fight how it was supposed to be done. Last time I did a hard raid u may ask when challage mode was first out. Reason I quit doing raids because challage mode was a joke you can beat in 5m flat. I'm trutly shocked that people are having problems getting to 320 and complain I mean go back to year 1 and try to get level 30 with 1 character. You have 3 chances to get 320 gear. Year 1 only think you got 100% for sure was shards (i ended up with 1250)

2 AntwortenI love this idea, but I would like to add that I think it should only be for hard mode as a bonus reward for the more challenging raid. If it dropped on normal less people would go through the trouble of hard.

I thinks there should be no light cap but it gets increasingly harder to level up as you go.

Increase it to 3-4 [b]OR[/b] make it have a chance to drop in greater numbers. Such as kill warpriest, you can get 1,2, or 3 shards of light. But NEVER add 0 in there it ALWAYS drops

Best way to improve the infusion system is to allow any item to be infused into any other item. So you could infuse 320 boots into a helmet or primary for instance.

2 AntwortenHell, people are [i]drowning[/i] in Motes of Light at the moment, too, why not cash in a set amount of these with the Speaker or something and receive a Shard of Light in exchange? Would make sense. Once you've got your preferred loadout fully levelled (all perks unlocked) then you've literally no use for Motes right now.

Maybe dismantling a fully leveled raid piece would provide a 'Hive Tablet' Next you need to charge it. This simply costs 16 raid shards (the things that Give Oryx more loot). After that, you can insert a 'Charged Hive Tablet' into a harrowed raid piece, and increase it's light level from 310 - 319 to 320!

I like it, but why can't we just have a good old rpg style progression system? If it ain't broke don't fix it. Certainly don't try something new that doesn't work then keep changing till it still doesn't work.
