Almost every match I go into has someone equipping Ice Breaker or a sidearm (sometimes even an Invective) and the end result is people cheese it to get special ammo.
I don't play Trials that often, I never played it in year 1. But ever since Bungie did this I've seen more and more people use this cheap tactic to gain an edge on the opponent.
Its really cheap and it takes away from what Bungie was "Trying" to fix...
I've contemplated reporting people for cheating if they do this tactic but while most people would consider this cheating, I consider it unsportsmanlike. And as such I have yet to report someone, it just annoys the hell out of me.
I've never been to the lighthouse, I'm not really that good at crucible or any PvP for that matter. I don't think this is a matter of getting good either because I personally feel that anyone who does this tactic is a cheap player and can't play the way Bungie is "Trying" to get us to play.
Personally, I think Trials should be no radar, no heavy, no special period.

I use Invective in Trials, but that's just cause it's the only good shotgun I have.

You're so dumb. It's not an exploit or cheating at all. This has been around since the game's launch so idk why you are finding it such a problem now. You even said you barely play trials so why should you care

If everybody is doing it then how is it an advantage over the other team? Both sides do it.

Trials should be objective based. If you give players to opportunity to play like camping bitches they will. Having an objective will force players out of their rabbit holes.

Damn you're a crybaby.

If the game allows it to work that way, it's not cheating. Unsportmanlike, yes. Exploiting, absolutely. But it's not cheating. It's not even glitching. I hate to kick a software company when they are down but Bungie should have seen this coming and patched it before it happened.

none of these are cheesing lmfao

For the love of god please bungie fix this nonsense its driving me insane! everyone is cheesing this game and it is ridiculous how has the community not lost their minds yet? or does everyone like being a cheesy loser

I didn't even know about this until this past Saturday. I've been away from ToO for too long. Makes me wonder if the Vex/Thorn glitch works?

All you have to do is WAIT for special patiently.

3 AntwortenHow is it cheap if everyone does it. Now sry if I insult anyone. But if your playing 3v3 and your the only one not using this then you deserve to get recket.

3 AntwortenI actually like using the ice breaker , il keep it equipped for most of the game . For Some reason I can get snipes with that gun better than others . It's been the same since pre dark below . If I wanted the extra ammo for special I have two shotties with rescue mag . That perk is a treat in games like trials etc . As soon as you take damage to an extent you automatically get 4-5 bullets ready to go

You mean it showed us how retarded three scrublocks can be.
-
1 AntwortenI think Bungie should have went the other direction: you spawn with a set amount of special ammo and that's it. No special ammo crates spawn during the match. And this is coming from a guy that likes to snipe.

I find it funny really because people can't fight without there secondaries that they have to cheese to get a edge on there opponents.
-
Their is a difference between a cheese and an exploit

3 AntwortenHow exactly is invective a "cheese"?

It also brings back the strategy of the "3 warlock sunsingers method"

2 AntwortenI agree with no radar. But special and heavy present different tactical challenges.
