What did you guys do to hawkmoon?
This is a serious question I just tried using it in free for all and I swear I didn't feel like recording it and posting it but I swear I saw someone from a pretty good range away I admit but they weren't playing. Literally sitting still, I aim and missed MULTIPLE shots that I SWEAR were dead on them. What did you guys do to the gun? I don't understand what's going on with it. Like what is the thought process behind making a gun in a fps inaccurate when aiming down sights? I can't trust my reticle and my own aim? The gun already has a ton of recoil as it is and an rng perk. Did it really need rng bullets? Lol I'm in awe of how messed up the gun is

they nerfed it so hard so all of the other shitcannons dont look like ass compared to it

It use to be a monster in year 1 and was by far my favourite weapon. But I think it suffered a nerf somewhere along the line :( bad times

1 AntwortenIts not what they did to Hawkmoon, its what they did to Hand Cannons in general. Boosts to range, accuracy and reserve ammo capacity are desperately needed.

They nerfed it because everything they made for year 2 is complete shit in comparison to year one. so since they had to bring it to year 2 for Xbox they had to make sure all those awful grinds for exotics in year 2 were done for the lack luster weapons they put in.

Try this: go on Patrol somewhere, anywhere. Find a flat wall to shoot at, and then test the gun at various ranges. I've found it's all over the place at anything over about 10 yards (or at least what looks like 10 yards to me).

The whole game is becoming a big fat joke! Pvp and pve both suck now after all the nerf's

3 AntwortenHC's had their aim assist and accuracy nerfed. I'm still able to hit longer shots with HC's, but I have to use a HC archetype that has good range built into it (Timur's Lash, First Curse, Ace of Spades). I don't use Hawkmoon and I'm unfamiliar as to whether it would fit in that category, as those three HC's are my cannons of choice, So I am not sure if this is helpful to you.

1 AntwortenThis gun is just a sad example of the bigger problem Destiny has right now overall. Namely, they ruined the very things we loved about the game in their never ending search for 'balance'.

1 Antworten:/ They initially nerfed the range on hawkmoon way before xbox got it. So we really couldn't use it as a sniper unless we selected the send it perk. Then they Hit hawkmoon when they "Tweaked" The handcannons as a whole. Meaning they messed up Range, Magazine size, Ammo capacity, Accuracy (Hip and ADS) Which made a majority of most if not, all handcannons worthless. Then when they tried to fix/buff handcannons again earlier this year (Or last lol) They noticed during their "Tests" That hawkmoon performed way too godlike and that they couldn't have that, so they gave it a separate nerf from the other handcannons which resulted in the horrid accuracy, range, ammo capacity. They really should just bring hawkmoon back to it's original glory. I mean how many times has the luck in the chamber, stacked with both lucky shots on a single bullet? I hardly even touched the gun anymore, and aside from icebreaker, it was my favorite exotic.

1 AntwortenAgree with you. Unfortunately it was nerfed before we even got our hands on it on xbox one. It is such a bad gun. I was so excited when ttk came out and I got mine. But funny thing on the same day of the release a bunch of my friends got one too..

1 Antwortenused to be my favorite hand cannon before the handcannon nerf, the accuraly took a serious hit and the overall ammo capacity was reduced to less that the -reserve- ammo capacity of legendary hand cannons.
