Those shows are being planned, too. Hang in there and we’ll create some renewed urgency to discharge your favorite weapon in the direction of some aliens.

Dear Bungie,
4 days away from losing a massive portion of your player base and this is the best you can come up with? Seriously? Not even a single, solitary hint of what is to come. I don't feel bad at all for leaving. I won't miss this at all once The Division drops. I don't know what happened Bungie, but you've changed. In a matter of 18 months you've had one of the quickest falls from grace I have ever seen a developer have, and it is completely of your own doing. Your community is begging you for reasons not to leave and it's like you don't even care. You've been repeating the same thing over and over for weeks now as if it somehow will relieve the cries for information. It's not surprising, however, given the complete and utter PR disaster you've been since you handed Luke the reigns last summer. You've become the developer that other devs watch when they want to know how not to treat their players. I once stood up for you.. I no longer will. You have lost one of your most loyal and dedicated fans. I hope you come to your senses soon, because you desperately need to.

PS: I got no enjoyment out of the composition of this post. This is a sad day, not only for me but the community as a whole. I feel like I am leaving a good friend behind because he is no longer the kind of person I want to associate myself with. Sad, very sad.
Edit: Glad this is trending at #1. Maybe some devs will actually see it. I don't think I've ever seen an "I'm leaving" post reach the #1 spot.. Thank you to all of you who agree with me, and an I'm sorry to those who don't.
Edit 2: Can't even get the damn weekly update out on time now.. Smdh.. They embarrass themselves more every single day.

5 AntwortenWell to be fair, no game developer is doing more bad than Crapcom, but yea I see what you mean. The shooter gods have fallen from the throne

Destiny admits defeat.

Bungie: TL;DR! OP: But Bungie.. you said you loved me! Bungie: Lol!
Scrub
4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Safari Farnsy: 3/5/2016 4:46:18 AMIn one image, here's a G8 example of what a Release Roadmap looks like Bungie & Co.. So that's free updates in the form of Raids (Incursions) etc released post launch. Not rocket science i.e. keeping yr Customers interested & on-board! Been asking for over 15 months Bungie. There was an opportunity to dominate the market with end-game content such as Raiding / VoG & you let the opportunity slide away?

3 AntwortenPeople fail to realize that there will still be people who play this, and it'll still be a functioning, thriving game. Nobody gives a shit if you leave. Nor will they ever. You'll play Ubisoft and it's mess for a week before looking for other games to play. End of story.

It's because they need to.......
Nerf fusion rifles
Well said

Pat on the back. I feel like I'm in the same boat

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Safari Farnsy: 3/5/2016 1:12:25 AMIs this Bungies new motto.. "Always monitoring. Always serving." (seen in this week's elephant update) Sounds draconian, how about? Always doing what the Hell we want. Never truly releasing what the Community asked for!

this is all so true

1 AntwortenI hate to say it, but I can't wait to leave on Tuesday. Have just had enough. Probably a thousand hours, 3x319, but I just can't handle how unenjoyable pvp is now, you can't experiment, can't mess about and relax, it's just a forced skill based punishing sweat fest game after game after game. They will lose half their player base next week, many never to return.

Agreed. I'm running out of reasons to keep supporting Destiny, and Bungie as a whole really. I love the Grimoire, I love the idea of what Destiny *could* be because it's all right there in front of us. But I'm sick of being nickle and dimed, concenrs being ignroed and just a general lack of confidence. It's my sincere hope that they'll turn this all around, embrace the RPG side much more and change Destiny into an epic FPS that offers top notch story telling and unprecedented variety (in a game like this) to the player, similar (but not identical to) what can be found in Diablo 3 (a game that basically does nearly everything Destiny's trying to do correctly) My friends are pretty mucn unanimously agreeing to drop the game next Tuesday at least until the Spring update, and are opposed to spending any more cash on expansions unless dramatic improvements are made (most of which I've laid out in my mega-thread from a few days ago, How to Fix Destiny) I'm an artist, hardcore gamer (trying to go pro/streamer) and have even dabbled in game development myself (a dream I haven't given up on, merely put on hold for financial reasons) and on top of all that, a big fan of Bungie ever since Halo CE. You guys have literally fallen apart, leaving half the team behind at 343i (who are doing a fantastic job with Halo now) and on top of that, Marty and Joe are also gone now. Please, stop the bleeding and turn this sinking ship around. Until then, I'll be enjoying The Division while you guys reap the whirlwind you've created - part of me can't help but wonder if this is what you deserve for partnering with Satan (Activision).

Nobody cares. Lol.

I bet that when new content is released you and almost all the others that are "leaving in the next 4 days" will be here in an instant to play the new things. get real!

Does bungie have work to do? Hell yes. Am I irritated? Hell yes. I bought the division, I will play the division but this is a certain fact: The game mechanics in Destiny are -blam!-ing awesome. The game mechanics in the division are ok. Screw it, Ill play both.

3 AntwortenMaybe when they realize their player base is only their own staff playing it in spare time then they will finally do something

I'm not stopping playing destiny, but I've realized that I can play other games and I have been doing that. And it feels good.

Lol someone gets it
