Those shows are being planned, too. Hang in there and we’ll create some renewed urgency to discharge your favorite weapon in the direction of some aliens.

Dear Bungie,
4 days away from losing a massive portion of your player base and this is the best you can come up with? Seriously? Not even a single, solitary hint of what is to come. I don't feel bad at all for leaving. I won't miss this at all once The Division drops. I don't know what happened Bungie, but you've changed. In a matter of 18 months you've had one of the quickest falls from grace I have ever seen a developer have, and it is completely of your own doing. Your community is begging you for reasons not to leave and it's like you don't even care. You've been repeating the same thing over and over for weeks now as if it somehow will relieve the cries for information. It's not surprising, however, given the complete and utter PR disaster you've been since you handed Luke the reigns last summer. You've become the developer that other devs watch when they want to know how not to treat their players. I once stood up for you.. I no longer will. You have lost one of your most loyal and dedicated fans. I hope you come to your senses soon, because you desperately need to.

PS: I got no enjoyment out of the composition of this post. This is a sad day, not only for me but the community as a whole. I feel like I am leaving a good friend behind because he is no longer the kind of person I want to associate myself with. Sad, very sad.
Edit: Glad this is trending at #1. Maybe some devs will actually see it. I don't think I've ever seen an "I'm leaving" post reach the #1 spot.. Thank you to all of you who agree with me, and an I'm sorry to those who don't.
Edit 2: Can't even get the damn weekly update out on time now.. Smdh.. They embarrass themselves more every single day.

Perhaps Deej & the team will be playing the division on Tuesday with the rest of us ;)
-
10 AntwortenYou do realise the Division is another RnG loot based shitfest that had a good beta that made people think it's huge but will have a major lack of content, and it also begins with D
-
1 AntwortenDon't expect Deej to be anything but ambiguous. He exists to pretend Bungie listens, and to say what his bosses say. Name a community manager of a game who want a carbon copy of Deej. I can't wait for their next twitch stream. I'm so excited to hear how bullet sounds were made, or how an orchestra made music.

3 AntwortenThe Division, When Society falls we rise or The Division when Destiny falls we rise (personal favorite)

7 AntwortenWhen the time is right they will tell us. It's amazing how impatient people are.

I've been playing from start and I have lost patience too. My main gripe is actually with the sheer amount of crucibal games where there are laggy players teleporting about. If it was even 25% of the games I wouldn't mind so much. The problem is it's almost every game I play. I have fibre optic at over 100mb/s with a wired connection. I should not have to put up with people who have potatoes for routers. Sure other games have laggy spots but this is the only game I play that it is this bad. That coupled with lack of actual updates, I will be probably be taking a break and returning when number 2 releases.

9 AntwortenI've already left (The Game) and no intentions on re-installing it. Won't be long before I delete the Destiny app aswell. Been having fun with GTA V for now. I will be trying The Division next week. If I don't like it then I will continue playing GTA V. Unless they bring back the old style Nightfalls (Boot back to orbit on death), 3 optional Weekly Heroics that give you 9 SC, Elemental Primaries and Kings Fall raid that stops giving you Moldering Shards at every checkpoint, I can't see myself coming back. ~ Alpha Player with 133 Days Gameplay out.
Salty comments welcome. That's all that keeps these forums alive these days.
this is really well written and i couldnt have said it better

1 AntwortenThe thing is, Destiny isn't a subscription game & neither is The Division. If they both were, or only Destiny was then maybe that would be an issue. It doesn't matter at all if a large percentage of a player base stops playing one game for a period when another game comes out. The only issue would be a lot less players bought the the dlc for Destiny because they were so invested in The Division. I think it's highly unlikely that would happen. Even if The Division is tops, that won't stop someone buying the Destiny dlc unless they actually don't like Destiny -in which case they weren't likely to buy Destiny products or spend time playing it anyway. Go have some fun, dude. New content will come out & then you can put Destiny back in your rotation for as long as you want to.
-
17 AntwortenAs much as I love Destiny. It is starting to feel like that girlfriend that you break up with. Then they swear they've changed so you give it another shot. Only to find out they haven't changed at all. I hope this all gets straightened out for Destiny 2.

Too little too late?? Err NOTHING too late?
-
5 AntwortenAmen See you all in the Dark Zone! ;)
-
3 AntwortenOver 900 hours invested in this game and I have surely got my money's worth (including investing in Silver) but I'm right with you. Just from Ubisoft Massive year one DLC announcement this week, I'll be skipping over to The Division next week for a further 900 hrs of investment!

Stop being such a drama queen.

Jeeez another Tom Clancy game. Enough said.

4 AntwortenFallout 4, I played that for weeks and then returned refreshed and took my guardians to new highs, broke 300 light and started 2 new characters. I honestly don't think destiny need worry overly much as division is a similar but much smaller scope game. All action takes place in cold gray city scape No real pvp The rouge agent issue which I honestly think will bite them quite hard. All human enemy's Basic story from current fiction 3rd person cover shooter with ammo sponge enemy's The list goes on, it's got the makings of a great game and 2 years ago would have been incredibly fresh and new ! Now well I think we should all chill and try the game and see how things go. But final thought I think we will all be back for the spring update and destiny 2. See you out there guardians
Yes, inferno! So, win I have fun! Lose, I go and play hide n seek with enimies! Win Win situation! Let's have Fun Guardians!
I would have gladly spend all my gaming time on Destiny if there was a reason to but there isn't love this game dearly, but Bungie please, wtf are you doing
-
1 AntwortenThe game mechanics are so good in this game. If the developers would give us some more content Id be thrilled
but knowing them this will never happen
-
9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Blacksmith Samurai: 3/4/2016 7:37:28 PMFirst of all, Bungie doesn't care about their loss of players. Second of all, it won't even be a 16th of the fanbase, so it won't bother them. Any argument you have is now invalid of having a point.
-
I hope they all leave so I can finally go FLAWLESS!!! Bye Felicia ps Edit
-
Wish we could legally play two games at once.
-
7 AntwortenDidn't the Division's Beta blow away Destiny's Beta in attendence?
-
Destiny saw its own pre-release video and shot itself with a MIDA!
-
5 AntwortenWell to be fair, no game developer is doing more bad than Crapcom, but yea I see what you mean. The shooter gods have fallen from the throne
