Atheon could wipe out Oryx and everything from time, but Oryx is an immortal God, and idk how getting deleted from time would translate against an immortal God. Who will win ?
Edit: they are nowhere, because it seems like Atheon can only control time in the Valut and outside of the throne world Oryx would be in the form we kill him on regicide. If they would be . . . in the Devil's Lair, Atheon would kill Oryx being that small compared to
Edit: We have an answer ! Oryx can't get out of time fluxes, he can go through dimension but not through time so, in the Valut, Atheon wins . . . outside, Atheon wins because Oryx is in the "Regicide" mission form . . .in the throne space, Oryx wins.
Reassuming, Atheon wins and I will get his MegaBloks replica because it's super-duper cool

3 AntwortenDid you know that Oryx was originally a girl but he got turned into a boy ( read the books of sorrow )

4 AntwortenWhen you say Oryx is an "immortal God" you are completely wrong. He is killed like 999999 times per week
-
Atheon has gorgons...nuff said
-
1 AntwortenAtheon has some more tricks up his sleeve than Oryx. Atheon has an endless army, and can control time
-
1 AntwortenIf oryx fought atheon, he would go through time and become his former weakling of a body. Atheon will win
-
2 AntwortenDo people think you mean their raids? Because it's in the game(not grimoire the actual gameplay) that the vex would all have succumbed to oryx if it weren't for the guardians killing him
-
All oryx has to do is clap...
-
Everyone saying Atheon will win clearly doesn't understand the Vex, nor the lore of Destiny.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von phoenix55x: 3/3/2016 11:09:17 PMIts hard to judge atheons power as we have way less info on him. But we do have descent info on oryx. We know he does not need to be in the throne room to take ones will or light evidence by the shade taking your light and the many times an enemy has been seen to be taken right in front of us.however we do not know if he can access his true form outside of it. but I believe it is more likely he can than cannot as according to the very long and boring history of him the dreadnaught was not originally his base of operations so it is foolish to say that he relys on it to access is own personal power. I believe the sword blast he used to kill the queen probably does rely on the ship as he could of one shotted the guardians with it during regicide and the cutscene does imply the ship is needed for that blast and the sword acts as a key or power source. So if we assume that he did not just go to the gym and pump weights since we defeated him in regicide and that he can access his true form anywhere i believe he could beat atheon.

Actually Oryx would win. Atheon become taken, done. Atheon can't even leave his room

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's going to stock up on Destiny Mega bloks

1 AntwortenWe have an answer ! Read the post again, the second Edit

In the words of King Leonidas. "Immortal? We'll put that theory to the test"

Bearbeitet von Ashikon: 3/3/2016 9:38:24 PMAssuming neither of them have their power, Regicide Oryx has MUCH less health than Atheon (Who still retains his raid stats). And without immortality Oryx would get destroyed, I'm not even counting the fact that Oryx doesn't have Times Vengeance.

6 AntwortenSomebody give me the lay down on why Atheon exists. I thought he was made in the vault but I do t know anything anymore. I'm lost with vex lore. I imagine he'd lose though to oryx because oryx destroyed a highly powerful vex sent to battle and gather data.

1 AntwortenIt's oryx per the girmoire. Quria blade transform was created by the ritual of better thought. When crota's self inflicted wound allowed the Vex entry into the hive world they did not even understand sword logic. Quria was created after the ritual came to understand sword logic. Through no simulation could quria find a way the Vex could defeat the hive. See end of failed time line for example. There are others as well. Maybe after even. More centuries passed the Vex could've found a way to defeat oryx. Or even just come up with an accurate simulation of him. Then again maybe they did... Theory. We have been set on this first part of our course by the Stanger and Eris. Both which have cutscenes speaking to an unknown being. Either directly or to them selves in their all to common cryptic manner. Both are maybe tools of the Vex to use others for their own will. The Stanger maybe part of a failed excursion into the vault of glass. Though she said she was not formed in light. She could mean in the same way dredgen yor once had a different name. Who she is now was not forged in light. She is currently trapped along with her fireteam in a different time line. Only able to step away for short periods of time. She was always in a hurry. Which is why she was able to bring us the strangers rifle from the future. While it seems a lot of people may think eris is oryx wife. Maybe she is taox. The Vex have gotten a hold of her and coaxed her into taking a more guardian form to attack the hive with the guardians. She was after all the one who believed aurash and her sisters were unfit to lead the hive. So she hired the helium drinkers to kill the osmium king, aurash (oryx) father along with his daughters. She fled and oryx still suspects she's out there. Can't remember the card i will edit this with its name in a minute or two. But he proposed the idea taox had something to do with his downfall. Thus would also explain why Eris unlike toland was able to spend so much time with the hive without being completely drained of her light and lost to the darkness. She is hive reborn as a guardian. One big hole in this would be how did the Vex get a ghost to choose her...

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von superenderbros: 3/3/2016 9:26:56 PMAtheon. Because if Oryx gets lost in space and time. It would take ten years for him to die from age. The only reason he has lived longer than 10 years is because he is fed. Hive do not age when fed. Edit: it's just a matter of time lol had to say it

1 AntwortenMind blown. Fusion rifles obviously need nerfing.

7 Antworten
Oryx is an immortal god,
... Then explain why we can kill him...
Lol ;)
Screw this, CAN WE JUST NERF ORYX'S BLAST ALREADY?
I love people like this
1 AntwortenUm oryx is not immortal
-
Atheon. Here's why: 1). I've killed Atheon in the Vault of Glass. 2). I've killed Oryx in his throne room. 3). Atheon controls the flow of time. 4). Oryx is a galaxy eating bully. 5). Atheon was only killed at a single point in time. 6). Unless Oryx is Immortal, he is dead for good. 7). Atheon still exists in the past, and most likely exists in the future as well.
-
Oryx just because Atheon can't control time outside the vault and even if he does kill oryx he will just return to his throne world then comeback and -blam!- Atheon
-
This argument depends solely on whether the vex could have been able to extend the control beyond the Vault of Glass(which I believe was their end goal). If the vex could do that then they would win. But as it stands now with atheon's control limited to the boundaries of the Vault of Glass, I think Oryx would win the fight

Desticle.

He ain't immortal anymore
