Thanks everyone for the "CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK" lol.... I wanted to provide some disclaimers for people just reading now.
1. On the self rez part the enemy gets a shield from rezzing his teammate and which is why he took far less damage. (was unaware originally)
2. I'm not against rez killing with snipers, I'm for a buff on POINT BLANK range on shotguns to help incentivize shotgunners be on the same level as snipers when it comes to rez killing
3. Primary Kills 6100 shotguns 6900... thats pretty dang even...
4. 2000elo 1.5kd if that means something to you
5. I dont claim to say there is a problem currently, these are just times when you want to throw your controller across the room lol

Interesting post. I'll admit that there can be good sniper shots. As you point out, the fact that the flinch effect isn't more effective can border on ridiculous. I think you might have referred to it as hard scoping, but the other stupid effect is when you can see the sniper just edge out (no gun or flash visible) and yet you wind up dead. Either that's a graphic issue or a connectivity glitch that they can make that shot.

Simply, increase flinch by like %5, buff shotguns impact, fix fusion rifles, make less sniper friendly maps.

Head shots have been on the rise and in seemingly impossible circumstances.

Well do you think you could hit the snipes that they hit? I often snipe people while taking Mida crits from them, but I just have to adjust when I take the shot so it's on target

Shotguns should beat primary up close, and snipers should beat primaries from the ranges you were engaging them in. you never threw a grenade to get them out their sites. This is the really fkn annoying thing about sniping. When I try that, my screen shakes like crazy and I can't hit a barn door while being hit (The perk does nothing for me) but yet other people act like they aren't being hit at all. Sniping in this game is horrible for your video reasons and something else. Back on my first FPS game, sniping used to be a game of skill. If you didn't get headshot, then you are pretty much wasting your time. But this game, a body shot does a ton of damage (Can even be 1 hit kill body shot at times) and the rate of fire is so fast that is doesn't punish you for not hitting precision.

lol ... this funny ..but you got way too much peeking going on ... youll be even better than what you are if you start pressing down on d-pad to view around corners. That way the description of using an emote wont flag in the bottom left hand of the screen, giving the opponent indication you off the guns for second with dancing or summoning zombiee! stop peeking, tho.

I just want to be able to count on my team to play the objective when I'm playing Control, or leave the frackin spawn when I have to play IB Clash. Half of them (sometimes more) not camping with sniper rifles evey match would be a great start! Something should be done to encourage more PRIMARY gunplay. Nerfing snipers would probably just result in mmore sticky nades, firebolts, shotgun "warriors" and wombo combos, anything to avoid an actual PRIMARY gunfight. Yay, the funs.

Honestly, they will just tell you: A: you suck B: git gud C: snipers are perfectly balanced D: "you'd die from one shot in real life" (my personal favorite) E: "if anything, shotguns are overused and take no skill" F: you are not engaging then right G: you were way outside of the primary weapons range ( my other favorite) H: not [b][u]ALL[/u][/b] of your shots were head shots, aim better. I: mida isn't meant to counter a sniper J: they are so easy to counter! K: try other games, destiny is just as hard to snipe as then L: there's no sway because it's the future, duh! M: you just need to be more aware of sniper lanes N: no scope res sniping isn't a problem. O: it totally takes skill P: drag sniping is truly skill Q: you obviously don't know what aim assist is R: nerf fusion rifles, they're the real problem. S: it's only because they give it away as a quest reward, not because it's easy to use T: shotguns still have too much range, that's why we have to use snipers U: again, you suck V: again, git gud W: etc X: etc. Y: etc. Z: etc.

1 AntwortenSome people are commenting that you should not have challenged them at longer ranges....and they have a point. However, if a sniping guardian is getting shot, especially in the head, they should really be flinching terribly or taken out of zoom. Playing destiny is literally playing team snipers all of the time.

7 AntwortenI do dislike snipers, but you have to change your style of play. Too often you see a sniper, yet try to trade shots with him at range. Even with the mida that is tough against a sniper with decent skill. It can be done, but you better be strafing hard, and you're not. Use that agility on the mida. You also see a sniper, hide, then come out in the same spot. Sorry, but what do you think is going to happen? Your video is not the problem with snipers (except body damage which is way too high). You have to learn to flank and learn some patience.

1 AntwortenLots of hate here, like "You're standing in predictable lines!" and "You got outplayed, scrub!", but people scoping with a sniper should not be able to take a face full of mida shots and still have the perfect aim on your head.
