I've heard from some people that it's supposedly degrading to the BLM movement and I wanted to get your opinions on it.
Edit: I personally think that BLM in theory could really help stop racism against blacks, but because of some of the activists who promote racism against whites, BLM has become a joke.

226 AntwortenHey, teenagers on this forum who are predominantly white: you as white people do not get to decide what is and isn't offensive to people of color, so your overwhelming "no" vote is absolutely meaningless.

Bearbeitet von TheArtist: 3/4/2016 2:52:46 PMWon't waste the energy dissecting it. The bottomline is that we have always had a segment of White America that is simply opposed to equality, and do everything in their power to either deny the reality of prejudice, or minimize its significance. Those people are simply not rational. They are not interested in being in touch with reality...and they aren't worth wasting time on. No sense debating why bears shit in the woods. They just do. All lives do matter. But this nation has NEVER behaved as if all lives mattered....equally.

2 AntwortenBLM is a joke. It is a copy/paste of the Black Panthers. They don't really have sensible arguments, if you disagree with the movement they sling ad hominem at you. The mental gymnastics required to believe that there is a systematic oppression of blacks by a system with a black president, talk about some somersaults.
its a bad thing when the Bungie forums are a better free speech platform than Twitter is, holy shit
Why do people make a big thing out of race? I've never really cared either way tbh. So your black, so your white, what's the big deal? Truth be told, my penis is a darker colour then the rest of me. Should I treat it differently?
truth be told, I'm lying. I beat my willie regularly.
The blm assh*les are just as racist as the kkk. But since they're dumber they burn down their own neighborhoods instead of white ppl's. The democrats still have their slaves some 200 years later. And most blacks are too stupid and dependent on welfare to realize it. Notice how after decades of solid democrat voting their situation only gets worse? Now call me a racist you dumbf*ck liberals.

I don't know if it's offensive, but it seems to me to be dismissive of what BLM is actually going for. The sentiment is okay, all lives do matter, but it's like a response to a question that isn't being asked.

17 AntwortenBLM is degrading to humanity. Whinges about racism and injustices... Yet still segregates people with terms such as "black" and "white". It's because if groups like BLM that racism will never die.

This poll has actually turned into a pretty good penis poll.

Bearbeitet von asir: 3/3/2016 4:57:43 PMI used to think BLM was good. I've honestly lost all respect for the movement. AllLivesMatter is just annoying and not really saying anything anyone doesn't already know.

Great troll.
its actually a pen15 poll
1 AntwortenI get what the BLM folks are trying to do but the way they present it skews their message.

1 AntwortenWhile all lives matter, the hash tag can be seen as being dismissive towards the very real issue of discrimination against black people. Do some take the BLM movement too far, veering over into "black supremacy" territory? Yes. But I can easily see why they would get upset at an ALM hash tag. My advice: don't use monotonous hashtags as a substitute for peacemaking. Christ said "love one another as I have loved you." Whether you are religious or not, those are words to live by. If you love somebody, you can empathize with them, even when they are taking things to an extreme. If you can do this, then you are more likely to reach them, to make peace and to compromise. Hashtags don't solve problems, actions do. They speak louder than words or memes.

I agree, BLM in theory is great - but its implications to often defend criminals is pathetic.

76 AntwortenBearbeitet von Nun: 3/2/2016 1:33:53 AMYeah it's highly offensive it's basically saying -blam!- your horrible problem my non existent problem is much more important. It's black lives matter because no other race is affected to this degree. So it only makes sense that's it's focusing on the real problem and not a majority of white people who have no business telling anyone that they aren't having issues with the cops. Edit: Don't try and argue me on this it's annoying having to argue undeniable things to an idiot.
