I just took my license test this morning and I failed by 3 points ;(
Took too long to parallel park
Stopped too late at the sign
Lack of awareness when turning
I have to wait a month from now to schedule another driving test, that's how busy the dmv is for me
Any advice you all can give me? I'm just a minor but I'm about to hit 18th milestone around July

Get better, I passed with 2 marks in total.

Yep failed it the first time due to silly mistakes similar to yourself, the second time I passed it with no points off. Now you know what to expect and know basically what the test will consist of and what the instructor looks for. Also make sure you over exaggerate looking when pulling away from the curb and stuff.

Call other dmvs. Gotta be one that's less busy in driving range.

It seems like you just gave yourself the advice you need. You already know what you need to work on, so I would just say be more aware of those issues when you take the test next.

Relax...

Don't have a drivers license for cars but was a bike instructor & my advice is to practice as much as possible to make it automatic & pay special attention to the points you failed on! Good luck with your retest! :)

Bruh, I can't give you awareness. But just remember to always assume that people are about to hit you.
I got 100 on my first try, so Idk what I should tell you. Practice makes perfect.
Just practice as much as you can before the next test. Also ask around to for opinions on the best place to take the test. Where I live some places are stricter than others.

You are not ready.

Only issue I had with my test was I forgot to put the car into drive instead of reverse when pulling away from the curb and my instructor let me move an inch then started laughing at me as I changed it back

Bearbeitet von KittyTheQuiet1: 2/28/2016 8:37:47 AMParallel parking throws people off. Pull up tight to the car you wish to park behind, until your rear axle is just past the back of the other vehicle. Cut in sharply while reversing, straightening out only when you can see an imaginary line following the driver's side of your car, running straight to the very corner of where the car behind you is nearest the curb. Reverse until you can crank the wheel over and bring your nose in, clearing the back end of the car ahead of you as closely as you dare. Back up almost into the vehicle behind you, then pull forward alittle so that you are positioned exactly between the two other vehicles. Hopefully that is clearly stated and intelligible. Other than that, it's all practice and confidence. Good luck, man!
