After TTKs release all the adult and mature players have left the game and the forums. Now the game is filled with a bunch of 13 year olds asking for nerfs and complaining
I'm truly ashamed to say that I played even a small part in this "community"

New youtube video for my channel. Please feel free to go check out my newest awesome montage! And as much as people complain about the community. They still keep coming back...
-
Quit being sensitive....

I know it may not be what your looking for but the 100 is a good destiny community where when you join it puts you in a group with your preference settings of age light and so on. Rules out the unwanted babysitting so to speak

3 AntwortenWho still plays this game? Just checked in to see if there was any announcement on new content. I should have just reread last week's post.
-
I've seen people laugh and make fun of people for desperately trying to get help for depression, self harm and suicide, even resorting to posting on a game's forums and hoping that at least one person will help them
-
1 AntwortenYup. So then what should they do about it?
-
League of legends has a more toxic community.
-
And you are at the forefront of the problem
-
100% agree, all scum and trash worldwide found a place to spread their toxic shit here. It's disgusting, a disgrace to this game. Bungie better close it.
-
You're playing a teen rated game and complaining when they play and get mad?
-
This game has the community it deserves.
-
Most of the quality people on here stay in private groups. For a reason.

You think these forums are cancerous? Check out the Halo Waypoint forums...

Well, think of it this way. Why do people decide to go find the Destiny forum and post? Because they have some sort of issue. You don't come to the forums to talk about how awesome the game is. Notice how after they "fixed" the connection matching issue in pvp all of a sudden all the people with crappy connections (like Australians - and they've got a legitimate beef I think) stormed on here and started complaining. [BTW, lumping all the people with crappy connections together is not the correct fix. The correct fix is to throw away the crappy bittorrent approach and set up a proper pvp server platform.] When the nerf to Sunbreakers broke their super so they simply CAN'T HIT airborne targets, they rightly and correctly stormed onto the forums. That's what the forums are for: HOW DO I DO THIS? WHY IS THIS BROKEN? WHERE IS THE NEW CONTENT YOU PROMISED?

Nice b8 m8. I would masturb8 to this 8/8 b8 m8.
-
They are still here. Most just choose not to post.

12 Antwortenasking for nerfs shouldn't mean it's toxic tbh. It just means people want some balance. you have to admit some things need balancing sometimes. Also I know tons others that are worse
-
That's why I started reporting the most toxic posts (particularly the nerf posts; this game's had enough of that shit). Reporting posts removes them from your view forever. Unless of course you're not logged in. As the saying goes, "out of sight, out of mind."

The only way I really even notice any "toxicity" is if I allow myself to. Of course it's all over the forums, but the second I see a heading/post/thread/reply that is negative and douche-y, I just skip onto the next one. People are going to complain-- it's inevitable and the norm-- (especially this day and age)-- but if you just look for the good and ignore the junk, you'll pretty much only see the bright side of the game, the forums, the Community and possibly life, as well. I notice the "salt and toxicity" (can't help but not to), but I don't really allow it to even register-- it's what so many do and get off on these days. But I don't see how it can be enjoyable and I prefer to enjoy my time in games, on the forums and living...so the negative salt/toxicity doesn't even register to me-- just move on to something positive/enjoyable.
I'm a bit more advanced from my birth, so I can't even imagine if younger generations had to "endure" video games/developers from when I was growing up. There was no "feedback", forums to complain on, no feeling that a company owed you something just because you could post on their affiliated sites, no cries of nerf or OP. You just played the games-- liked 'em, hated 'em or loved 'em-- but ya just simply played them, regardless.. You still paid for them, but you "got what you got and dealt with it". Nowadays, MMO's/online gaming/social media certainly cater to that bit of a "spoiled" nature (complaining/ranting/salt), coming from players and "Communities". So, yeah...it's there, but if you accept it as "it is, what it is" and just find that enjoyment-- it ain't so bad and can even be fun!!!
Bearbeitet von Primus Vult: 2/26/2016 4:25:16 PMshitty and toxic, yes. doesn't hold a candle to apb reloaded though. p.s. any game with pvp has a toxic community. pvp brings out the douche in ppl.
-
I admit I'm complaining, but at least it's directed towards the other complaining.
-
It has progressively gotten worse as time passes. Shame. Used to be a welcoming, helpful community.
