Destiny will be dead on march 8th
Once the division releases on 3/8, i will be playing that. The reason why destiny will be dead because of lack of content, weapons are getting nerfed, content will be irrelevant. Bungie lied to the fanbase but most of these fanbases are too blind to see it

Division doesnt look that great IMO, looks like people will play it for a month, get their fix then get bored, come back perioticlly but always return to their main game be it cod, destiny, halo or any other game (that is a main game). I doubt many twich or youtube channels will start up and hold an audience formmore than 3 months and Dlcs.

Do you honestly believe that hundreds of posts like this haven't already been made? Why do you waste your time? What exactly do you get from copying and pasting the ramblings of so many others? If this was anywhere near an original thought then maybe it would garner some real responses. But I guess since you already stated you are leaving there is no need to persue this further.

5 AntwortenYou realize there has been like, at least 5 posts just like this one saying that once this one game comes out, Destiny will be dead? The worst case scenario was that the person deleted all their characters and stopped playing, only to find that the new game that just came out was good until they got bored of it. Eventually, they came back to Destiny and grinded to get all their stuff back. In my opinion, no matter what people say and how much they complain (even me with my complaints), the Destiny community will always be around and continue to grow. If it really is gonna be a 10 year project, then all of your 4-12 year olds will be playing it in the near future. Even in the next two years, the nine year old squeakers from CoD are going to discover Destiny and play it... And then hate it Then love it Then hate it again Then ask for nerfs Then complain Then ask for buffs Then ask for new raid Then gets mad at new PvP event Then plays it anyways Then repeat

Even with all the things I wish destiny had but doesn't or in spite of everyone's complaints, I genuinely enjoy destiny. Always have. Always will.

I doubt it. Everyone keeps saying this game will die when "X" game comes out. People said every game in Q4 that came out was going to kill the game and it didn't happen. Now people are saying The Division will kill of Destiny and that won't happen either. It's a new game for people to play while we wait for the content drop in spring and fall. If you're putting all your hopes on The Division I feel sorry for you because you clearly are giving Ubisoft more credit then they deserve. I would genuinely be surprised if they didn't have to deploy a day 1 patch, or if servers are down or overworked on launch day.

You know what, I might check out The Division. I mean, I wasn't going to but then I read this 500th "The Division will kill Destiny" post & I changed my mind. I won't be playing with you though on account of how utterly boring you are. [spoiler]It's ridiculous to assert that one game will kill another. Also, I don't know if you were aware, but by saying this it suggests you feel Destiny is the no.1 app of it's sort, that it could be taken down by another game. If it wasn't at the top then it couldn't be taken down/'killed.' It's interesting that you love Destiny so much.[/spoiler]
