Iron Banner Matchmaking Settings
IRON BANNER IS LIVE!
As you enter the [i]clash[/i] to impress Lord Saladin, you'll experience the same new-and-improved matchmaking settings that were present in [b][url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/192717349/0/0]Control[/url][/b] over the weekend.
[u]Summary[/u]: The emphasis is focused on connection quality. There are still minimal filters in place to shield the casual from the hardcore. The technical quality of the match is our primary concern.
[b]Damage Referee[/b] is also online. Players with poor connections will not enjoy a tactical advantage - quite the opposite in fact.
Get in there and play. Let us know how it feels. We know you will anyway, but we wanted to let you know that we're taking the things you say and putting them into practice.

why still push thus awfully designed pvp? the pvp side if this game was a distraction.but now its in the fore ground .if it worked well it wouldn't be so bad, but yet again pedal power wireless gaming benifits. i mean damage ref ffs really? but then, when you guys scribble a poor narrative with no depth, you're forced to push your secondary plan (pvp ) no matter to me now the division, home front uncharted will finally kill this potentially great game. so glad you guys never ported it to PC It would have died in a month, although i prefer pc gaming consoles have a niche in the market. just quit i would end this before it rots into the annuls of worst games polls. Anyway good luck with it

4 AntwortenBungie, Let me see if I get this correct, although I'm not expecting any type of response. I mean after all why would you answer questions. Damage referee isn't what you say it is. It's not penalizing those with bad connections. Actually still the opposite, it was rewarding them. Damage referee = a form of CA, or computer assistance. I can't tell you how many times this IB I was in a group that was leading 3-4k then it was like a switch was flipped, or CA kicked in. Those leads dwindled to an either slight lead 100-200 points or a loss. There is no way that the teams I was playing on just all the sudden sucked. Maybe a little bit of human error by thinking we were safe came into play. I'm not talking on 1 occasion. This happened very frequently throughout the week. Both when running solo and playing with a group. Let me ask you this then, was this another blatant lie to the community just like the switch to SBMM? Little tinfoil hat theory maybe but given your shady track record I wouldn't put it past bungie. Why so silent nowadays? The shitstorm getting to much for your incompetent company? You guys just rolling over until D2 comes out sometime later next year? You figure just stay silent, Ignore them and they'll leave mentality..? You company looks really bad. Really bad. Such a shame too. This game is seriously one of a kind, but it needs a one of a kind company to keep it going. Sadly that's not you. Sincerely, A disappointed guardian

1 AntwortenThe whole of crucible has gone to crap, had to turn my Ps4 off out of pure rage, I've gone through my whole gun arsenal high impact, low impact, high rate of fire, low rate of fire, high impact scout rifles, high rate autos and pulse rifles. Headshots to snipers that still seem to be able to aim dead straight without flinching and kill you with an headshot while still getting hit. the whole multiplayer experience stinks! And the rewards are terrible, I'm trying to grind for the Red spectre but this has become impossible unless I play crucible and just sit at the back of the map and take in the scenery!

4 AntwortenHaving grown bored of PVE lately, I'm honestly trying my best at PVP. I benefit the most from skill-based matches rather than connection. I understand connection sorting is still important, but I noticed how through most of the week I was sitting at the bottom of the leaderboards every match (THANK YOU FOR HAVING PARTICIPATION-BASED BOUNTIES, BUNGIE.) Do you guys tally emotes? I made sure to cheer everytime I revived, haha! Finally, on Monday, managed to be in the top-3 a few matches in a row (All them hardcores had earned all their goodies I guess?) Yet the bounty where I was supposed to be a 'top scorer' remained incomplete for my week. Alas. I ran off and finished the Witch's Coven quest to get myself the final legendary marks so I could get my hunter the rank 4 helmet. Last Iron Banner, where it was skill-based sorting, I actually held my own in several matches with my Warlock. I guess not everyone was excited about Rift. But this Iron Banner tought me a good strategy for hanging out in the rotating thingy on Blind Watch and waiting for the opposite team to come wandering into my Ace of Spade's sights. (Only worked once. The second time I was there, the opposite team decided to hide inside the building.)

2 AntwortenAll I received from Iron banner was 5 Iron Companion gauntlets. I grinded the game mode all week for the wolf cloak but couldn't even get a a different item apart from the gauntlet. The drop rates were so horrible.

So what you think will they be on here on Thursday telling us all what a great banner it was? Likely we just won't get any response at all since there is nothing to say but another apology after the fact and I think they have kind of used that up by now haven't they? The crucible is a shambles. The last viable aspect of a dead game is now destroyed by the game makers tinkering with what wasn't broken until they finished it off. I really enjoyed crucible till the last month or so now it is complete garbage. Matchmaking is a disaster. They ruined all weapons that even remotely challenged sniper rifles so now that is the only game in the crucible. Thanks again and that is about all the feedback I can offer.

I liked having a new gametype instead of control all the time, and it seems like ya'll have finally fixed the drop rate for loot in PvP. The Iron Banner has always been my favorite PvP event in Destiny, and I can't wait for the next one. [spoiler]I'm still mad at you for taking my Year One Mantle of Gheleon from me though.[/spoiler]

This was my first time playing iron banner and I have to say the drop rate was awful for as many times as I played it, I only received a sniper rifle in all of the matches played, and it everyone else was getting much better gear for being a lower level..... Besides that it was fun to play..... Thanks
