You can kill one with a .22 too. But why would you?

Chilllll oooooout I'm not disagreeing with you.

I'm calm. No ones yelling. I'm just sharing my opinion. Plenty of people do shoot deer with them. And I actually plan to shoot one this year with mine, but it'll be a head shot inside 70 yards on a small deer.

Bearbeitet von BeavrDeceivr: 2/23/2016 5:03:09 PMHere's the deal. At the start of this discussion you implied that using a .223 is not a great choice for taking down whitetail, I totally agree. There are far better options. Then you proceed to give me shit about it. Then you said you're going to do the exact same thing you told me I shouldn't do(hunt deer with a .223). Do you see the hypocrisy here?
-
Whatever dude. No one ever gave you shit about anything. I thought we were having a discussion. you're the one with your panties in a wad. I still stand by what I said, I don't think a .223 is a great deer round especially in the hands of a new hunter. Chill out.

Bearbeitet von BeavrDeceivr: 2/23/2016 5:05:37 PMSee, we agree. So what flavor of .223 do you have?
-
Bearbeitet von BK1223: 2/23/2016 5:35:31 PMI built one. I'll post a picture in a minute. It has an rra lower and a PSA upper ETA link to pic: http://imgur.com/nmKdkvV

My beard hates those 6 pos buttstock's. Face rug yanking bastards. I put electrical tape on mine.
-
Will replace with UBR after I build the new upper
-
My friend has one of those on a build he started two years ago and hasn't finished.
-
They are heavy, but it's going to be more of a bench gun and I'm kind of a big guy anyway. New upper is probably going to be a 6.5 Grendel but may just be a precision .223.
-
What kind of glass are you gonna put on it?
-
Probably just a 3-9x or something similar. Not sure.

Have a snickers, you get cranky when you're hungry.

Question still stands.
