What's after that? Shadestep, nevermind hunters would never cry for a hunter nerf.
Low rate of fire pulse and autos need a slight buff. Then all weapons would be fine.
Lag needs fixed. Painting red bars green didn't fix anything.

Because it took 17 months for the developers to go into the code and screw something up that OP'd, or even nerfed in some cases. Can't leave well enough alone... Human nature.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Xur: 2/22/2016 2:17:48 PMBecause we had things like -Thorn -Vex Mythoclast -The Last Word (Still OP) -SUROS -Final Round snipers -LITC snipers -Sunbreaker -The Ram -Shoulder Charge -Connection issues That needed fixing before firebolt. Stop stereotyping people who 'complain' on the forums. We need change. Higher time-to-kill = better gameplay.

I don't care if it only took 24hrs their moaning is still unwarranted.

2 AntwortenCrimson Doubles attracted all the casuals that never played small team stuff.

i hate that grenade...but i dont see it as something they should nerf.

Bearbeitet von bobswerski: 2/22/2016 2:24:06 PMBecause Thorn. And Arcbolts were actually worse without having to even set up your perk tree a certain way. (edit: and firebolts were already nerfed once, forgot to mention that)

Yes I knew it!.... they just did make up the signal bars.... I saw yesterday on trials how someone double shotgun on someone's back at close range and nothing happened. it was hilarious tho! I think they just made it worse and it can't be fixed!

Firebolts have always been and issue and I did see plenty of complaints in year one. Firebolts actually got a nerf on the initial Damage out put but with ToF and Viking Funeral the nerf really did not help. Look at it this way. The arc Bolt and Firebolt were pretty much the same they both got a nerf, Arcbolt is pretty much useless now but firebolt is not. The only reason is Viking funeral. I feel the only reason you are hearing about the combo so much is because there are alot more people running the set up now then back in year one. An example of ths is that back in year 1 running trials I would maybe see 2or3 people with the set up per trials card but now there is almost at least 1 or 2 per game running the set up.

15 AntwortenHappens a lot, it's due to the nerfing of previously more powerful things, until nothings left. The issue is so much in the gane means balancing will never happen. I think firebolts are more frustrating than anything n literally take zero kill to use. They do the same damage as other nades, then they do extra burn damage on top. 1 touch n 1 bullet n ur dead. I ran trials yesterday at 298 light n if I was touched by a firebolt I burned out fully. Felt a little op tbh

Bearbeitet von Sanguine_01: 2/22/2016 1:54:23 PMIts just like everything else, someone makes a video about "balance" and dot being OP then their followers bitch and complain and the sheep follow suit because they cant use rational thought. Anyone with a shred of common sense would see that nerfing a warlocks grenades makes them pointless in both pve and pvp. It would make Discipline builds irrelevant. The facts are in the stats and while sunsingers are used about a third of the time, 2 classes of hunters have the highest kill ratio in pvp. Sunsingers on the other hand are at the bottom 3 of the 9 sub classes in kills with the other 2 support classes, Defender and Nightstalker. Guardiangg.

i could've sworn people complained about firebolts in y1... and didn't they get nerfed when ttk hit? i dont remember, it's been awhile
-
Like warlocks cry with the bladedancer nade and berry combo. It was so cheap that they even ban that combo from sweatys.
-
I still like my fusions. I am pretty crafty with sticking people.
-
Both bolt grenades were a pretty hot topic in year one TOF+VF just took the nerf in stride.
-
Because you got killed so fast by shotguns thorn and the last word, that the damage was actually slow paced compared to those other stuff.

2 AntwortenIf they nerf Mida I'm quitting

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Pain: 2/22/2016 12:55:40 PMI love how half of you people still play this game.

10 AntwortenFire bolts have been a major subject of rage since year 1 dude.
-
14 AntwortenBecause it wasn't the only grenade warlocks used until some big destiny youtuber decided to say how OP it was. Now you have guys running firebolts and not using a single bullet. They just rush in and cheese the kill with a grenade followed by a meelee... Or even worse...they pop radiance mid game just for the instakill grenades...

7 AntwortenWell, considering there's already been a Blink nerf... That said, I shouldn't get tapped by a Firebolt and then shot once by Doctrine and know I'm gonna die and that there's nothing I can do about it if I didn't happen to Shadestep out of it (or, god forbid, I'm playing PvP on my Titan or my Warlock). It's smart behavior, sure, but it's abhorrent and it's just not very much fun when every time I see a Warlock in 3v3 I know that's what he's running.

1 Antwortencrimson doubles really opened our eyes to sunsingers
-
1 AntwortenI see two problems with this game. One is the lag. Second is when people die they cryabout it so much they want everything but what their load out is to be nerfed
-
Fix arcblade & buff arcbolts back to normal....or, nerf touch of flame
-
It has been complained about throughout year 1. Those complaints fell on deaf ears due to other complaints being more prevalent. (Luckily I guess?) I am against all needs in general though, so I might have a biased opinion.

I used to think the firebolt was a joke anyway. I don't see how no one else did. I think they confused it with thorn burn or something. Then sunbreaker was an issue so that got the attention.
