Recently I've noticed that the requirements people are demanding to start a group are ridiculous. 1600+ ELO? That's unrealistic for many players. 1.5+ KD? Come on, how many people are gonna come by with such good stats?
Edit: to people taking this as a chance to say I'm bad, my ELO is 1200 in trials and my flawless run wasn't a carry. I'm not a bad player, nor am I a good one. Im a casual who carries his own weight.
Edit 2: 300+ replies! Trending for the first time ever!
Edit 3: 750+ replies holy hell

I have a .95 and 1287 and I've been to Mercury 14 or so times. Seems like more. So yeah...
-
You start at 1200. That is not overall good but its not terrible but I'm not gonna lie, I never sweat a 1200 elo player unless they're brand new or have a high win streak because you never know if they're someone who made an alt to better their stats and are really good or if someone bought a trials flawless and someone else is on their account.

1 AntwortenMines 1600 and I'm not the greatest trials player it's not hard to maintain
-
2 AntwortenIs ELO a trials thing
-
What's ELO? Do I have ELO? What's my kd? How do you check?
-
1 AntwortenWhats an ELO ? Can you eat it ?
-
The hell is this ELO you nerds are raving about all of a sudden?
-
Stats are a joke. This game isn't even competitive really. No real competitions.
-
I personally don't care about KD except in trials. I mess around in crucible far too often to care about KD, but in trials where you are supposed to be competitive I I think KD should matter. I would like some type of rating system like ELO that factors in revives, assist, and amount of time spent alive. I think that rating would be better than KD.
-
I don't really care about elo. I care about kd because I like playing with similarly skilled players. I have a1.7 kd. My min for lfg is 1.3.
-
3 AntwortenLast time I checked I have 1608 elo and I have a 1.3 kd. Your stats don't define you. How you play defines your skill. I understand though I'll ask for at least an above average player and get people messaging me with .5 kd saying they've go flawless each week
-
Check mine.
-
Those requirements are ridiculous. Stats mean nothing in this game.
-
2 AntwortenI know KD but what the hell is elo? And can anyone tell me mine?
-
2 AntwortenIsn't 1200 ELO completely average? I'm pretty sure 1200 is the starting ELO rating before you play your first game. 1600+ ELO and 1.5+ k/d isn't that much of a stretch. People want to make their flawless run as smooth as possible, and high k/d and ELO shows you know how to kill and you know how to win.
-
2 AntwortenThis really annoys me because my overall kd is not that great, but I've improved so much since launch, but I need to get my kd up. My monthly kd is pretty good but my overall is only a 0.96
-
77 AntwortenPeople want to play with same or better skill so they can get better unless they are doing a carry. I have a 2.4 2.5 2.6 kd across my 3 Characters. All around 90% win. I don't play with people who aren't around a 2.0 kd or high elo of 1800 and above.
-
What is elo?
-
Since when is a negative kd equate to carrying your weight:..
-
Lol I got those kind of stats
-
.79 is pulling weight?
-
Elo? Who has time to look all this shit up? Boy I tell you these nerds are addicted as -blam!- to this laggy unbalanced bullshit.
-
4 AntwortenI do carries with my friend gamma Santa on xb1. We don't require anything lol. (On my other account obviously)
-
You answered your own question. Not many people have those stats, we're looking for people around our skill level to play with. We WANT to narrow down the selection of people to choose from.
-
7 AntwortenI have around a 2kd, but my trials elo is extremely low? Why? Because I help people, shocker I know. All my pve buddies love getting the trials bounties done so I do my best to help them. This game isn't competitive, why I stopped playing sweats, it's just for fun :)
-
This is why people are quitting games and resetting accounts. I saw one guy with a 4.4 KD. He averaged about 7 kills a game with a sniper and quit a lot lol
