Doctrine of crutching...
How is this gun balanced at all?
Just played a team in trials and all they did was rush in and kill everyone in .5 seconds flat with the doctrine.
Last word is pretty much the only other gun that stands a chance.
Instead of nerfing it...why not make other weapons be able to compete with it? Really sucks when one weapon is chosen over every other weapon because the time to kill is incredibly fast...

Someone's been getting destroyed in trials. I love doctrine of melting. That's a crutch but you have 8000 thorn kills seems legit.

It's a weapon that is earned... Why should vendor weapons be on par with it? That's the problem with this community... Too many people feel like the weapon that dropped from killing a Dreg on patrol should be as good, or better, than those that are earned from raids or trials... They shouldn't... If they were, then what's the point of running endgame content?

Doctrine has lower TTK than most other auto rifles (1.06 with 0.94 being TTK for hakon's hatchet type autos)

Well to be fair, alot of things outgun the doctrine of passing. Mida for one is much better in MOST situations if you are skilled, not many people crouch strafe while using mida and i can safely say that crouch strafing is OP as -blam!- (crouch strafing is when you spam the crouch button while moving left and right unpredictably while shooting at your enemy, use puppeteer controls to crouch with the thumbstick instead of the b button ). Last word and thorn out perform The doctrine of passing as well, lets see what else... hmmm.. The hawksaw is better than it at medium to close range and just about any side arm with good perks can out gun the doctrine. The Gun isnt OP whats not right is that all the other guns need to be buffed slightly to give the users some breathing space. However i finally got a doctrine this weekend for the first time ( ive been wanting one since ttk launched ) and sometimes ive had a few kills where ive thought to myself 'hang on that was a bit fast for a kill' But that usually doesnt happen. With mida, tlw, thorn, hs ect im so used to the fast kill times that its normal so of course when you get killed by an auto it makes you wonder wtf just happened. If you dont adapt your strategies while playing you will lose, its not the guns fault you just need to realise you were out played dude and correct it. Doctrine is in this weird spot right now where not many people know how to counter it yet due to autos being abandoned in the past.

Bearbeitet von striker8080: 2/21/2016 1:22:57 PMThis week's trial stats were: Mida multi tool : 12.2% TLW: 10.1 Doctrine of Passing: 6.12% Doctrine of Passing (Adept): 5.48% Making 11.6% of the kills by the Doctrine, coming in second overall and surpassing TLW. This gun is very good and as a TLW user, will dominant in all medium to close range encounters. I lose to this gun 9/10 times using the TLW.

If they rushed you, then why didn't you play the distance or go around them? I understand where you are coming from but it wasn't the gun you lost to, it was their strategy. Maybe you did try and move away and not play into their hands, but it's clear you were doing something wrong. It's not the doctrine bro, it's you, and this is coming from someone who only has just acquired it. You can rush with any weapon, be it Last Word or Mida, hawksaw, whatever. You just need to play to your advantage, not theirs. If they rush you and beat you, don't rush again, it really is that simple.

I see someone with doctrine, I just keep my distance with mida. Learn to counter weapons.
