About political correctness
I think it's ruining this country. Used to be when someone gave you trouble, you could whoop his ass on the spot. Now you can't because " we need to use our words " and God forbid that bastard is a different skin color. Makes me sick. I don't give a damn about being PC. and I never will. I hope you don't either.

Well, you see, Political Correctness has more or less become fascism masquerading as good manners. Quite infuriating when you think about it. You don't agree with someone's point of view, and suddenly you're politically incorrect. Why, in some instances you can be thrown in jail! what sort of rubbish is that? Here I thought we were supposed to encourage diversity, or free thinking, but now it's gotten rather overbearing, hasn't it? It's sort of become a rather fatuous joke, to which the punch line is: "But we have freedom of speech, right?"

PC isn't just PC. It's a tiered system. I don't think you should be able to call a black person a n****r. That's common sense. You should be able to call a black person, n***a, but you shouldn't be suprised if they overreact, because it's still an offensive word. You should be able call a black person black, and if they get offened they're just a dumbass. There are levels of PC, depending on how thick someone's skin is and how much the speaker can refrain from being an asshole

The whole extreme PC thing is only pushed by small groups. It should be present in official business but casually it's really not as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be. At least not where I live.
