Xur is basically pointless. Let's fix it!
Remember when you'd be so excited it was Friday and Xur would be showing up with something interesting, preferably something you didn't have. Maybe it's just me but he holds no mystery now, no excitement. He's a 3oC farm for me and that's about it.
So I say add a random 320 item that costs a decent amount of coins. This way every week you're guaranteed to either go up in LL or at least have the opportunity to or infuse obviously. The best idea? Probably not but just a thought.
What do you guys think he needs?

1 AntwortenThey need to uniform his items, one armor piece, one weapon, and one misc item. The last few weeks he has had some of the worst exotics Ive ever seen.

1 AntwortenHe is useless to you because you have most of the exotics, just like I do and most of the destiny community does. For newer people in the game, he is worth a lot! There isn't enough loot in the game to make him useful for the majority of us. Maybe add a 320 exotic engram for something random each week and make it a decent amount of strange coins to buy

Something should happen somewhere since it is in no way fair or right that in what is supposed to be a PVE based game that the only place that you can get up 320 exotics to drop is from PVP in Trials. I have been mad about that since I found out about it.

I would not be at all surprised if his inventory undergoes a change when the "significant" Light level upgrade occurs in the spring.

I'm glad he sold helmet engrams. I got a 310 Mask of Third Man and a 310 Taikonaut

Xur is a black market dealer. He is there to offer you good items at a discounted price. Need an exotic weapon? Xur has you covered. Want the twilight garrison? Xur has an engram for that. He's not a solution, but a means to an end. He gets you what you need in a pinch.

I still use him and ive been playing since week 1. get an exotic engram and infuse it into a piece of gear with lower light level. DUH!

He's for the people that only get to play like two or three days out of the week due to serious time constraints. He sucks for us, but for those that got Destiny year one and only have about 70-80 hours of total game time must be stoked to still see him.

7 AntwortenIt would still be useless to many, xur is more of a gateway to exotics for everyone, he's not meant for those who already have everything, that's what end game is for.

You need to stop focusing on your self. Think for the community. As a day 1 or bata player it differences then new players just purchased Destiny. Please be more understanding and supportive to the Destiny community as whole!

He is there for the noob. He isn't here for players who are over 310-315+ looking for their 320s. Bungie has already provided everyone with ways to reach 320. No sense in making it any easier. The next update will have an increase in LL, you'll get your handout then. Xur is fine being the way he has been since he started showing up. They've already given us 3oC to make finding exotics even easier. Now, if they gave us a 310+ version of nightfall w/o the training wheels I can see 320s dropping from that but asking Xur to hand you a 320 for more coins than the usual is kinda silly. Why even play the game. We should just have Xur give us 320s and we can all log in on Fridays and Saturdays, smh.
