New Moderation Notifications
In the past it has been difficult to find out why you were banned and for how long. That made it hard to know what you were doing wrong, until now. Based on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/185963260/0/0]your feedback[/url], we have updated the site to send you notifications. That will include a link to the offending content as well as information for how long the ban will last. As of right now this only works on desktop. We are still working on better mobile notifications.
Our Ninjas have been given much better tools to help keep this place clean. You can do your part by reporting any posts that you feel break the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/View/bungie/conduct]Code of Conduct[/url]. Thank your for working with us to make this community a place that everyone can enjoy.

2 AntwortenIt would be good to do something similar to in game bans. A friend of mine got a temporary ban and to this day has no idea what he was accused of.

Thank you, the new methods made my most recent ban much more understandable. Also, does reporting someone still make you not see their posts? I stopped reporting people a year ago when I realized some topics on the front page would disappear when I logged in and I think it was related to people I reported.

Can you implement a feature that allows users to have the option to view a deleted post that violated the code and was met with ninja justice? You can make it work like spoilers. Thanks.

You know, if you guys fixed the game by addressing game related issues (that have been the topic of so much toxic forums posts), you wouldn't see as much traffic and/or need to moderate the forums... Because people would be playing the awesome, corrected version of the game and not going to the forums in rage and shooting their mouths off.

13 AntwortenThat's because in game Bans don't exist. The reporting system gives false hope, I've made official reports and nothing happens. I miss the old Halo days when people actually got banned for doing the wrong thing.
