Lead writer from Mass Effect coming to Destiny!!
Lead writer for Mass Effect: Andromeda Chris Schlerf is joining bungie as a part of their creative team! I can't wait to see what he will do with the lore of the Destiny universe.
If the story has the same punch the taken king had we can only hope for great things. So much talent at bungie I hope they pull off something epic!
What do y'all think of the hire?

So... The lore is good. The story isn't bad but they have no way to execute or develop what they've already got. I'm glad because I love mass effect, but honestly they need a new creative director with balls to push for implementation of the great ideas already in place.

Will look em up, but for now, what else has he/she done? I love the previous mass effects. A top favorite series for me. Did he/she help with those? Encouraging either way. The writing for the mass effects were very good imo.

Lol well he will put a great game together to have it scrapped and put someone else in to be a tool of the corporate shit heads. Then split into 10 pieces and sold at 60 and then 20 a pop. It's like buying good toilet paper at first company gets cheap and goes to the cheap shit tickets that still have recycled cardboard coming off of it.

1 AntwortenIs it just me or am i the only who sees this as a bad sign seeing as we have a major expansion coming this year and the second game hopefully next year. I feel that both should have been well underway with majority of the scripts written.... Unless they're rewriting the story again.

Ok, this plus the dlc announcement, bungie has my attention, not my money, just my attention.

Like or loathe ME3, the whole world building of Mass Effect and its characters are top notch. The ME world felt rich and the characters were interesting and engaging. If Chris can even bring a small amount of that to Destiny then it'll be a wise hiring decision.

6 AntwortenI think bungie is desperate. Also this writer could make a story that would make bungie writers want to throw themselves off a bridge in embaressment. Good for bungie wanting to corrupt more good talent and squander it on destiny. But this writer will make a good writer
