Worst era of the crucible

Early ttf pulse rifles was my favourite time, it made slow down, aim better and land my shots. I started to get better. Now I just spray auto rifle fire everwhere.

Do you remember the range those guns had? Do you remember how annoying Blink shotgunning was? Do you remember when everyone ran Grenades and Horseshoes rockets?

The auto and fusions were fun...everything was pretty balanced Shotguns worked Fusions worked Snipers worked Basically all except for handcannons and pulse rifles were pretty good at that time

Hawkmoon wasn't really used during the Thorn era. If anything autos would be good now and stop snipers if Bungie didn't mess up

Thorn and TLW meta were better than now because faster paced games, no SBMM and a variety of special weapons. Also guns like hawk moon, hopscotch, messenger were able to compete as well

I honestly loved when everybody rushed to me with shotguns, and back in the day when you kill the heavy weapon user and they dropped heavy ammo...

The Hawkthorn Era was the best. It was fun for the whole family! Hawkmoons, Thorns and shotguns oh my!

Now. But not because of balance or anything (not saying there aren't issues but we all know) but because of connection and hit detection and stuff. Sometimes it's hard to tell if a gun sucks or the connection just meant that the bullets didn't register. Hopefully all the new system Bungie is working on fix this. So far it seems to be an improvement but it's got a bit to go still. ( * v * )

I think people just forget about the pain of the thorn meta because they only care about the pain they feel now.

I liked auto rifles ruling because it made blues like he shingen C, galahad D, and silvered hushwind D amazing too.

8 AntwortenI voted now because I think it is very boring and lacking in variety. Back in the HC meta, at least you had [i]fun[/i]. Right now we are in a very sterile era.

8 AntwortenPeople who say the current meta are 1 of 2 groups of people. Either group A: ran thorn/felwinters with blink during this meta and now have had all their crutches broken and long for the days they could finish a match 20-4 without ever using a primary if they didnt want to. Or group B: year 2 players who never played during the thorn/felwinter meta. People who say this meta is the worst because of a lack of diversity in weapons CLEARLY didnt play during the thorn/felwinter meta.

You have no idea how hard it was to vote now. Weapons are close but many are still kind of left behind. We have nerfed weapons to the point where MIDA shines out as OP what does that say. Their messing and messing with match making has it a disaster. You can't enjoy going into crucible with a buddy or anything for fear that skill based match making will have you in with a bunch beyond your pay grade. Snipers are about the only game in town. Shotguns were finally so close to taken out of the game they are questionable in terms of use. I have been through each and every Meta up there and was fine in them. This mess though is not just weapons it is affecting every aspect of the crucible experience negatively.
