Sunsinger is without a doubt the most op class in the game, and that's without super (hunter's wombo combo comes pretty close though). flame shield is ridiculous when you consider the fact that a warlock's regular melee alone is op. Then there's the insanely op firebolt nades. In trials the other day, I went to cover behind a wall until the burn would wear off, but I got kicked to orbit. pathetic.
edit: lmfao at all the idiotic replies about other nades. a tripmine can't kill in one hit against any subclass with Max armor unless it is a direct hit (which takes actual skill). a lightning nade can easily be avoided after the first tick (unless you are a PvE player who doesn't even know what damages you). fusion nades require a stick to the body (takes way more skill than a nade that you can just chuck in the general area of the enemy and rush them after 8 seconds and they still had no recovery).
edit 2:
-instant health recovery after last burn tick is a must.
-flame shield only on kill (warlock's melee alone is already op so it would make complete sense).

Storm fist also does something like 170 damage which is dumb.

Firebolt needs to be adjusted for sure, how? Not sure, but I do like some suggestions some have made already. Now for what you said about fusion grenades and the like needing skills? I don't agree with that. It's so easy to chuck a fusion grenade in short to mid range and have it stick to someone.

Dipshit...

4 AntwortenYe the grenade is insane. Has been since year one. No clue why it wasn't nerfed. I feel like the radius should be decreased when used with the two perks so it requires more skill to get a hit and the firebolt should get a base damage increase when used without the perks to promote the use of other perks or grenades. Having to run like a bitch for 10 seconds because someone threw a grenade a bit near you shouldnt happen. Also people keep saying you shouldnt nerf them because the super sucks. The super is awesome. Try using radiant skin. Self res is only useful against bad players (or good ones that are too busy doing cheer emotes in front of you at 4-4 in trials:p). Good players will instakill a self res. A tank with ridiculous health running at them spamming grenades everywhere with a one hit kill melee is far from a bad super. Use it to rush the enemy with your team following right behind you and the enemy hardly stands a chance without a super for themselves.

4 AntwortenShield on kill! Yes! Defender has to kill to get the shield, and has a short arm. Melee on hit is bullshit with a warlock.

Bearbeitet von Masko: 2/18/2016 6:37:26 AMI have not played my Warlock in 6 months. Took him for a spin yesterday. It's so easy. My first game got me a 2.5 kd and it stayed above 1.5 for most games. It's too easy to play. Just like bladedancer back in the day and Sunbreaker more recently. P.S. Keep in mind that I used Y1 armor (VoG) so my stats were shit. And I still managed to keep up. Too easy? Yes

Reminds me of year 1 when everyone cried about solar wind until it was nerfed, now people are crying about the grenade. Worst part is bungie caters to these crybabies
-
1 AntwortenI think less damage would probably be good Enough to get your shields down but not enough to freaking bring you down to a sliver. The whole point of that nade is to mark the opponent and get the drop in them. I say make it arc to more than one person but halve the damage

9 Antworten190 damage from skip grenades is insane

1 AntwortenIdeas to fix this broken subclass: 1. Once self res is activated, you do not get your super to use. But you will spawn with full melee and grenade bars. 2. Take out Viking funeral, but keep touch of flame. Those are about all the ideas I have so far, comment below for more ideas.

Bearbeitet von Litz: 2/18/2016 6:16:06 AMlook over the data on this post... (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/191958967/0/0) stop complaining about balance hunters are the most OP class in PvP and every time you whiners get your way you break PvE a little more.

3 AntwortenA lightning grenade has a very, very large blast radius that can take you to red. You're an ignorant person with an IQ of 4 that botches about the world.

I feel warlocks are Powerful, op? No but in need of a little fine tuning, there's ways to counter everything but unlike in vanilla most of those counters are to useless in every other situation nowadays. The burns and shit I mean I've always used them, never combo 'd them with firebolt as I'd just chuck two fire lots and be done with it but bungie needs to rethink the burn effects in the game, not one of them has ended well, thorn? Need I say a word about it..... Maybe instead of them damaging you they suppress you? Restricting movement like a smoke but not damaging you? Thorns could do the same but last longer and only proc on your target if 2 precision hits land quickly? Idk I'm not the game designer gettin yelled at here but maybe if we were to come up with more ideas instead of complaints they'd cut and paste our ideas into the game more

Rank 1 in trials is a sunsinger using shotgun. So much for people crying about snipers.
