It's not going to happen. If i want the exotic sword, i have to kill some guardians in the crucible. nope. I've just got to Rank 25 on Dead Orbit. Guess what, i have to go and kill some more guardians in the crucible. Can i expect the same when i hit rank 25 on FWC & New Monarchy.
Crimson Doubles, no thanks.
The only thing i liked PvP was SRL, bring that back. But stop fcuking forcing PvP quests on me

I really enjoy pvp and the lag.

I felt the same thing too. I really dreaded PvP for my PvE content. But it's not that bad dude. You gotta do it for the sword, it's not that bad. 1. You don't need sword ammo, you can kill someone with two hits with the sword hilt. 2. Don't try long distance attacks, you'll get picked off easy. Stick to tight cramp hallways, so you're able to run right up to someone. 3. Got a friend ? Join together in a fire team, use mics, and go into a rumble (every man for himself mode). You guys can coordinate, meeting up and getting free kills

7 AntwortenYou seriously can't spare a little time out of your endless patrol to bonk a few people with your sword hilt? Get you a stack of 3oC, go into control, hide behind a rock, catch Leroy Jenkins unawares and bonk his ass in the coconut. Sooner or later you're done since you can't lose progress and you get some exotic engrams along the way.

How can you just not play pvp that's pretty ridiculous. You can never complain about not having things to do in this game if you're just going to ignore half of the game.

Go in legacy rumble with a friend

Perfect solution: Do the game like dc universe, pvp and pve at same lvl. Raids(ALL OF THEM) for pve with max light rewards Trials, crimson doubles and srl for pvp with max light rewards Nightfall rewards and weekly pvp bounty as they are now Strikes for pve and Normal pvp as pvp The only thing that misses is getting old raids back. And create some pve events, at the same time as the pvp ones.
-
8 Antwortenwell what do you think when origionaly bungie created a multi player PVE game then decided to just work with the PVP side, constant updates and events for the PVP but none for the PVE, they only want you to play that. I prefer PVE games over all, the PVP has grown so rampant that its the only way for kids to have a social life anymore. I am so glad I still have my old cartridge consoles to get back to real gaming.

I suck at pvp and hated it so much that I stopped doing anything pvp related back in vanilla Destiny. The few exotic weapons that needed pvp input from year 1 were completed by my son except the Thorn bounty which I just left and it auto-completed when TTK came out I went back to pvp in January to get the exotic swords and found it wasn't as bad as it used to be. I am still bad, but pvp isn't. I had never played over half the maps but thanks to sbmm I could start to learn them without dying all the time. I am a scrub but I play against scrubs. I completed the three swords (separately), did Iron Banner rank 5 on all 3 guardians and am working my way through the rest of the quests and grimoire (and getting faction exotic class items) I am just saying that it is possible for pve players to enjoy pvp without being good. I am in a pve clan and most people openly admit they hate or are bad at pvp, but most can be dragged out into the crucible for a bit of a laugh and when no one else is around I play solo Give it a try. It's not that bad. If Bungie put mayhem on the rotation a bit more instead of inferno it would be even better

1 AntwortenTotally agree, you should be able to achieve any item or quest in this game on whichever format you prefer. I find PVP on destiny to be completely inconsistent and unsatisfactory to play in, shoot a guy one minute he dies, 10 seconds later empty an entire clip into him and he just stares at you and one shots you. No thanks . Every weapon or quest for one ,should be available in either format I wouldn't care if it took twice the time to grind for it on PVE PVP armor pieces could stay in trials or IB I wouldn't care I wouldn't wear it anyway .most of it it just for looks and isn't that impressive looking anyway . Destiny should have given access to all weapons and light level ghosts to both formats but I'm sure they are afraid they would lose a significant number of PVP players if they didn't have to participate in sweaty assed PVP events to get them

Honestly destiny has the worst pvp I have ever played, even plants vs zombies pisses all over it.
-
2 AntwortenThey're also not forcing you to do those quests. They're SIDE-quests. Totally optional. The lore behind the crucible is that it's an arena where guardian forge and hone their skills to battle the darkness. Who knows? Your PvE game might benefit for it. I used to hate crucible. Then I decided to complete the thorn bounty and it changed my game plan and tactics for the better. Now I really enjoy iron banner and had a blast with Crimson doubles. Completed all the bounties over two separate sessions with two randoms and we just had fun with it. No pressure to win, good laughs over clutch plays when we were one against two. It's really not so bad. Sure, every other game there will be someone who is invincible or damage is delayed, and I nearly always find one of those when I'm trying to get sword kills to get my final exotic sword, but it's a nice change of pace from PvE.

Right, so it's agreed, pvp and pve should remain separate entities like church and state.* So, who's going to start the petition? I'll sign. *One caveat: I think when starting out in Destiny there should be one required pvp quest that will give the player a taste of the Crucible, this way they can decide for themselves if it's something they would could enjoy or not. The Iron Banner gear is what drew me in and now I'm trying to improve myself in the Crucible.

1 AntwortenYour gonna lay down and like it. Git down and suck the pvp good. Lean back and take that pvp like the dirty little noob you really are.
