I'm not going to argue with you man. We obviously see this issue differently and you're incapable of stating an opinion without throwing insults and acting like a child.

You wanted to call me a "dumbass" when your argument is about as strong as a wet napkin. You're obviously dense and I have 3 times the crucible experience. I know what I'm talking about.

Seriously. TCG liquid syphax did a video on Mida and bullet magnitism. Aswell as TheabadBk did one on snipers aswell. Both sweat players. You want the links to the videos?

Bearbeitet von Folk: 2/12/2016 6:22:43 PM
You want the links to the videos?
Why would you think I'd care about a youtubers opinion on AA. I've told you that I understand the mechanics of AA. I've seen videos on the issue already. What I'm saying is that AA (on snipers) helps you track targets by slowing down your reticule when you pass over their character. Note that I did not say magnetism. This mechanic keeps you from over aiming and passing the target too easily, hence the higher the AA the stickier the reticule will become to a target. Now before you react, I'm not saying a skilled player couldn't hit a headshot with a low AA sniper. I'm not "salty" about snipers because I've been killed by them. I understand sniper lanes and the risks involved in challenging them. What I'm trying to tell you (before you get defensive about the weapon archetype you're so passionately defending) is that the level of AA on certain snipers coupled with the lack of de-scope and a predictable flinch mechanic; makes sniper rifles not a skilled weapon, most average players can be extraordinarily efficient with them in situations where they're (or should be) at a disadvantage. This is my opinion about Aim Assist and I also think the over abundance of special ammo magnifies the problems with snipers.
Why would you think I'd care about a youtubers opinion on AA.
They are not opinions. They are fact from experiments and test. Not like a DPJ video with an autistic accent and unsupported statement.
What I'm saying is that AA (on snipers) helps you track targets by slowing down your reticule when you pass over their character.
Correct
Note that I did not say magnetism.
Of course you didn't, as I stated this from the Mida you're so passionately defending (parrot to show your logic of condescending statements do not help real arguments) does have bullet magnetism Yes snipers are complained about a lot as of now, but so is Mida, so you're not so "non-meta" as you think you are.
This mechanic keeps you* from over aiming and passing the target too easily, hence the higher the AA the stickier the reticule will become to a target.
Every sane person knows this. And this is for any and all guns in destiny.
the level of AA on certain snipers coupled with the lack of de-scope and a predictable flinch mechanic; makes sniper rifles not a skilled weapon, most average players can be extraordinarily efficient with them.
Destiny is an overall casual game. So there is not going to be descope. But there is no predictable flinch. The only thing to flinch is that the reticle resets itself abruptly which to a person not getting consistent shots/ not fast enough shots, they're going to die (assuming the sniper is competent, and can headshot). Descope mechanic are usually coupled with 1hko bodyshots from up close like In cod or BF and basically any other competing game.
This is my opinion about Aim Assist and I also think the over abundance of special ammo magnifies the problems with snipers.
This is indeed your opinion, entitles me in a way to respond.

I digress, it is a trivial indeed but proof is proof
