"Ghorn is too OP" Do you guys remember this quote all over the forums?
Who else remembers the time where people always used the G-Horn on strikes, Atheon, and most importantly... Crota. You were an asshole and a god if you used this. Everyone wanted this exotic on their fireteam. This was a the weapon that was truly exotic. People called for a nerf merely because it was powerful and people always relied on this weapon. I know it might sound strange, but I miss that.
Having an exotic weapon that is so special it catches everyone's attention, it seems all those weapons are left behind. Ice Breaker, Queen Breaker's Bow, Thorn (yes I know some of you don't like it), and maybe others. With this new expansion, I hope they do this with every exotic weapon. Tell me what you guys think.

Those calling for a nerf in PvP must have forgotten that the rest of the Rocket Launchers in the game also instant kill on impact. The elitism surrounding the weapon is a story for a another day. If you think about it, the whole Kings Fall Raid was designed to negate Gjallarhorn.v

I would be happy with either bringing back old content to make them relevant again or Making new content entirely. But here is what the community will most likely do: [b]If you bring back old content[/b] - The world would rejoice. l0l but some players would be upset because they want completely new content. "Bungie is soo lazy, they just edited old content. Not even a hard thing to do. #Bungiedoesntlisten to the real players." Then there would be the arguments saying "why is my Year 2 stuff irrelevant" and "Ban Year 1 weapons" Just like what CD did, they made some Y1 weapons somewhat relevant again and lots of players posted complaints. Then hardly some players would play TTK, cause the old raids were more fun (at least from most of the players I have talked to) [b]If you make whole new DLC/Update[/b]: The world would (still) rejoice. New content would really bring a whole new feel to the game, and Y1 and Y2 players could enjoy. But, there will always be players that would say the older exotics is much better. Just like TTK, people will always the older stuff that are more memorable and bring a nostalgic feeling/memory to mind. Then people would put posts on bringing Y2 Weapons up to Y3 or something like that. Plus there will always be the players that will beg for Y1 content and bring it up to Y3. then you hear "Bungie wants to erase the Y1 stuff, they wont make 2/3 of the game relevant again. It's soo easy to do. #Bungiedoesntlisten to the real players" So either way, there will be hell on the forums l0l But I would be fine with New content or Relevant old content. 6 AntwortenTbh anyone who used it on Atheon was an asshat. Of course I might be biased as I onced played with a guy who probably used his Gjallarhorn as a dildo. He would jump out of the bubble that protected you against damage and die from the harpies or Atheon and blame us. Or he'd hit a teammate even though he was so close to him he could smell the guardians ass and die. One time he even backed into the bubble and fired which killed him and blamed the Titan. But to me I've heard that if you shoot Atheon with a launcher he moves which throws off everyone's sniper shots.

5 AntwortenI used to post on all the NERF threads(Thorn, Gjallahorn, Pre-Nerf Mythoclast, Pocket Infiinity) about how you don't really want these guns nerfed, you just WANT these guns in your inventory. When I got melted by the Vex in Crucible, I never said, THAT'S NOT FAIR! I just started drooling wanting to get that damn gun. If the guns aren't amazing and useful then why bother? I continue to look for a way to utilize the sleeper... Still looking...

That's one reason why people so many people quit this game. Those who earned their Gjallahorn the hard way felt like they were slapped in the face for all their hard work.

1 AntwortenI miss it. Because I felt powerful. In today's game I straight up have to pay attention in 260 heroic strikes. I want to run through nexus and phogoth again in 6 minutes with nothing but a shotgun and swap to black hammer for the boss. That was FUN!

I don't remember anyone ever asking for Gjallarhorn to be nerfed... Maybe a lot of complaints about RNG but never anything about nerfing it.

6 AntwortenThe only PVE weapon that the community ever called for a nerf, mainly 12 year olds who kept getting kicked off fireteams from LFG because they didn't have one. The only weapon that is truly exotic, worth the grind and the only exotic that was really a powerhouse, no legendary was better than this beast.
