How would you nerf thorn?
Less DOT? Less impact? What needs nerfed?
Edit: over half of you see the word nerf and go into a fiery pit of rage then spit your fire at the nerf posts.

Make the dot only work on precision shots

Exotic armor that stops all DOT effects. Would counter more than just Thorn.

Apply the damage over time from Mark of the Devourer to precision hits.

How about make y1 weapons deal less damage than y2 guns? Like half the damage of wat a y2 gun can do making people stray away from using them in y2 playlist. and to make it fair prevent y2 weapons from entering y1 playlist (Legendary y2 can't enter).

Change the gun image into a sphincter that shoots poo. Does zero damage on impact but if two poos hit you you die from damage over time every time after 10 seconds. The projectiles fly faster if you haven't shot in awhile just like your regular bowel movements kind of work. So the first bullet shoots quite fast and that speed also decays over the period it's in the air. It also is affected by gravity so aim high. If you do miss (you nooby scrub) poop lands on the ground and guardians can slip on it. And everytime that happen an old random quote from dinklebot is spoken at the loudest possible in game volume.

1 AntwortenThe problem is that it flat-out deals more damage then other guns in it's archetype. It has both final round, DoT damage, track players, blind them, stop their recovery, and has aggressive ballistics to further increase damage on a fast firing weapon. It should either only stop you from recovering health, or have other stats be awful in order to make it a risk reward. Terrible handling for quick kills.

I wish all hand cannon were as accurate as thorn. You can literally spam head shots with that thing.

3 AntwortenHave it not "fog up" your vision for the damage over time. Even when I have most of my health left, the green fringe on the screen throws me off and sometimes makes me panick.

Less DOT? It only does 3 damage, it can't kill you unless you have no health.

Lower rate of fire, get rid of the green side screen effects when you use it, and decrease mag size/buff reload.

I'd leave it at 170 light, that'll show them for trying use a good gun.
