The poison stops recovery and tracks the enemy, and is the reason it can 3 shot kill. It does a lot more than nothing.

Take two steps behind a wall.

By the time you're behind the wall the DoT will either kill you, or if you stay alive it will track you and stop recovery giving the crutch Thorn user a huge advantage.

Dot is not as strong anymore, it can't 2 shot anymore as well

Lol, what game are you all playing?? I almost never died to the DoT back when it could you know, [i]actually kill[/i] It's freaking laughable now. At least it used to take your health into the red, now it barely moves your bar. If you want to say red death or TLW or conspiracy theory or any other weapon is good, no problem. I've died to Thorn twice in 6 months and I was already heavily damaged both times and neither was to the poison.

Thorn now, compared to pre-nerf, is average at best.
