It has come down to: 1. Crota's end/HOW size DLC = $20 - Months of work 2. Emotes = $5 - Easy pickings(Probably a few hours) Why make new content when you can make the same amount of money by selling an easy to make emote four times(4/Ea x $5 =$20) and make just as much. I am in no way against anyone spending money however they want to spend it, but we cannot overlook the fact that any BUSINESS like Bungie/Activision looks at things profit wise. They will go the route that brings in more profit. If they can keep recycling the same old content and presenting these "Free" events with the sole purpose of introducing new Eververse content for the masses to buy, they will milk the cow again and again. Believe me, destiny 2 will be delayed. As long as this new practice is profitable, new content will be withheld. In the end I like my shooter/mmo or whatever you want to call it. I'm not getting any new content which I would gladly pay for if it's really new, not recycled exotics and inverted maps. And the developer is happy making money off emotes while doing minimal work. Why do you think destiny 2 has no expected release date? They will not move on to it until the destiny 1 cow is milked dry!
