Let's talk about the Eirene RR4
Alright guys, as the title states, let's have a discussion about the Eirene RR4. The 1000-yard stare is pretty much flooded the hands of all guardians and have been much talked about due to the high aim assist the gun has. Now, on the other end of the spectrum, no one has bothered to talk about the Eirene RR4 since after the Luck in the Chamber nerf. I want to find out who still uses this sniper, why you still use this sniper, and of you prefer it to the 1000-yard stare. I come across those that do but never got and answer. Let's have a constructive, adult conversation about this. GO!

I use it depending on the burn and Shields in nightfall. My stare is solar (dropped 3 all solar) My Erin's are arc and void.

I like how it looks and how it feels, it feels like my first sniper, the dead orbit sniper from vanilla but it feels stronger and aims better

1 AntwortenI use Eirenne in PvE. The sniper that I love in unfortunately Stillpiercer, which is limited to my Hunter. Granted, I have not been sniping in PvP recently - been using side arms and fusions.

Prefer it over starw cause I love the sights. Hate that little red dot on stare. I suck at PvP sniping but in pve...bonkers. plus that litc is good money when it connects

I like 1000 yard stare more, but I have got much better rolls with RR4. I have 3 that I use in pve, and 1 of those I use in pvp. The 3 of them have my elements covered too. The scopes are funky, but eh. Can't fight rng.

I love mine with snapshot & eye of the storm. But still use 1k yard stare for most things. The reason is the crosshair. You can't see inside it, so centering a headshot isn't as reliable at longer range as ambush & shortgaze.

Can this gun get hidden hand??? Never seen it drop with one or have the gunsmith sell one

My pvp one has outlaw, Quickdraw and unflinching

Love it! Tried switching to a 1kys, but didn't like it as much.

Onion scopes are AIDS. Currently seeing out a blue sniper with supposed -5 AA.

I use it mainly cause I was pleased to find it had a very similar name to my daugther (arienne)

I like the eirenes site and handling better. I've had and used 1k yard stare and didn't like it as much.

So far I've liked the 1000 yard stare and glass promontory. The Yasmin feels too much like a scout rifle. I heard the New Monarchy sniper feels pretty good, I haven't picked one up yet though.

I dont like the scopes on that sniper they feel awkward as hell and its difficult to get one with high stabbility.

3 AntwortenI picked up the one with performance bonus, snapshot and clown cartridge. It takes some getting used to but it's actually pretty damn good.

I have 320 Eirene It's a good sniper , but I like the scope of 1K short gaze more So I don't use it anymore

Me!!! I have two at 320 and one at 317. All on my guardians. I love them so much.

If the reticle designs weren't so odd, I'd be using the Eirene more.

15 AntwortenWhy is aa even a stat that's mentioned when talking about snipers? Do people still honestly not understand how it works, and how useless it is for snipers?

I only stopped using my Eirene after I got a 317 raid sniper (but don't raid enough to justify infusing it and taking the loss to my light). The Eirene is very much worth having and tears through enemies. No plans to get rid of mine.
