It's all about perception snipers are easier to see ( scope flash ) it only takes about three sniping a lane to make you think "that's a lot of snipers". Yes there r more snipers but still less than shotguns and they still net less kills Shot guns, you would never notice some one had one unless you saw it on their back or they shot gunned you. More people use shotguns and shotguns net more kills.
