Tips for a new sniper?
So I've played destiny since the beta, but i never really got into using snipers. In y1 I liked using fusions (plan c 4 life), but after the most recent fusion nerf I've been giving shottys and snipers a try. I just the the glass promotory, and I absolutely love it. So I was wondering, do any of you veteran snipers have any tips for me?

Find a sniper type you like. Figure out your style of sniping. Like holding a hallway or quick rushing shots.

3 AntwortenTrain with something like praedyths revenge.. low AA high rate of fire and max stability. It'll serve you well :)

2 AntwortenIf your really new to snipers try one with a faster rate of fire. You will still kill with a headshot but if you miss you might get the two shot kill. This way you still get practice but will feel like your making more progress getting some kills on the board.

Just quick scope

Learn the choke points of each map. Get angles, and flank people. Learn to scope in on the head Use a lower aim assistance sniper. Once you get good with a low AA, switching to something with higher AA just feels easy.

go into patrol or somewhere and practice scoping the enemies as fast as you can. Then go into PVP and pay attention to where people tend to snipe from, and try to get them. The more you do it, the better you'll get. I believe Glass Promotory has a higher aim assistance than 1000 Yard Stare and Black Spindle so you should be able to pick up getting faster with it quite easily. Look up 'drag scoping', that may also help.
