It will be the death of destiny...at least for some. the moment thorn goes to year 2 stats I am getting off this game. 3 shots to the body is an absolutely asinine idea when you have a gun that has such ridiculous rate of fire, stability, and range for that capability. the fact that you can casually walk to cover on the third shot because of DoT kicking in makes it a purely crutch weapon. DoT is pathetic already due to the fact that it takes several extra seconds to start your health recovery. It's also free TRACKING. Tag someone with a thorn bullet, and pull out your sniper. See them through the walls and know exactly where the enemy is going to pop his or her head. anyone who disagrees with me certainly has several thousand kills with it and has no understanding of weapon balancing. 2 solutions: -DoT only procs on a precision hit so that it can't kill in 3 body shots -nerf rate of fire and range edit: My assumption holds firm. Every single person that is against this post either is a PvE player that plays so little PvP, yet has several thousand kills with thorn in crucible and a hideous kd, or the person is a crutch weapon user that can only keep their precious kd ratio up by using their crutch exotic primaries (ex: 5k kills each with thorn, Mida, TLW, etc.). all the people who are against me say that I am a scrub without even looking at my overall kd in crucible. please note that I have a ton of objective captures because I play objectively. Also take note that I use every weapon type in the crucible. I have over 3 million medal score yet not even 1k kills with thorn. The amount of kills I have with TLW and Mida are very, very low for how much I play. I'm only saying this because people are too lazy to click on my profile. Of course, now you are going to say I'm a special snowflake because I'm actually good at this game and "cool" that I don't use crutch exotics as some sort of defense mechanism to some how use against me.
