Having to watch Twitch TV for hours at a chance at a raffle?
I'm a decent player. I don't need the carry, but I'm not good enough to do so. There are SO many people that want to see the Lighthouse, I just figured there would be a lot more willing to help.
90% of you that Twitch stream and use Trials at a chance for viewers, will not make money from it. Honestly.
Either stop begging people to watch you, or stop offering to help carry. It's pretty annoying.
Edit: I'm not referring to myself wanting the carry. I can pull my own weight just fine. I'm talking about those who can't. Who don't have time to watch a stream JUST for a chance at a carry.
Also, I'm not hating on Twitch in general. I enjoy watching gamers stream just to learn from them. It's cool if you want to stream, just don't get people begging for viewers by carrying them to the Lighthouse.

I guess I have a question about what happens when someone doing a carry runs into another person doing a carry? One team has to lose eventually right? So does the person carrying go back and get a new card if they exhausted the mercy boon? Or is it onto the next client "Sorry maybe next weekend" How many people are doing the lighthouse service these days? If you keep running into sherpas, going flawless could take a while if it is explicitly "guaranteed".

1 Antwortenlol! I got a few messages from some who have offered to "carry" me to the Lighthouse - followed by prices. lol! For a CHANCE to win something that MIGHT be high light level, and most likely obsolete in a few weeks? No thanks! Just a game folks.

Bearbeitet von I Need That Head: 3/4/2016 3:40:58 PMThat's what I'm going to do with my clan mate today. We did it last time, and he asked me if I want to help him carry two other players. Its all about volunteering to help (: Its not really carrying, its more of giving a below average/ average player a chance to see the lighthouse. He wasn't too bad himself, he actually saved our asses from multiple round losses, even won some by himself.

For those who want to be carried, they should have to offer something in return... Seems fair to me... It seems like you are promoting "something for nothing" which I strongly disagree with...

Yeah some do lists

I had a guy post on lfg that he wanted to 2 man trials. So could someone join him and then suicide every game to let the 2 of them do it. Thought why not give it a try last week. 1st match was fine and it was good to see 2 guys clearly much better than me do it. 2nd game it started to go pear shaped for them early on and I didn't suicide. Turned out I could hold my own with them quite happily. I don't want to sit there and let someone else do all the work and literally carry me to the lighthouse. Seeing it would be nice. But I want to contribute in doing so and help out. If that means it takes longer then so be it I guess. Seeing all these twitch stream helps seems pointless. The chance it will be you is slim.

I got a 1.2 kd and I am a OK player... But I normally just do it for the marks with friends who aren't great.

I will play with anyone who hasn't gone. I'm not amazing but depending on the map I can do the heavy lifting. No stream. No price. I've been enough times that my fun comes by taking someone that hasn't had a good teammate. My record is seven flawless passages on pantheon. I'm on xb1 today.

Bearbeitet von IronEagleX: 3/3/2016 11:44:51 AMRemember kids, Say NO to trials carries with strings attached. Next thing you know twitch steamers will force people who win their raffles to sign a Terms of Service Contact. "You didn't read the fine print, Lighthouse NOT guaranteed!!!"

I'm not a fan of the whole Trials carrying thing that's been going on. It's meant to be an accomplishment. I don't even pay attention to people with flawless emblems even more because I'd argue to say the majority of people earned it through a carry.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Dixon: 3/2/2016 8:29:24 PMWe ask people to follow in our twitch. If our list is empty we get randoms from reef or forums. Ours also isn't "hours," we ask the person to jump in and say they are interested. They get added to the list. We get them through. Usually the list is only 2-3 long. The viewers have to get priority though, man, or why would anyone view who was looking for a carry. We don't do raffles, people seem to hate those. Twitch me5enger! That is my buddies channel, he is 2250 or so elo, excellent player.

6 AntwortenMost streamers aren't that good. Just because you have 12 year Olds donating their parents money doesn't mean anything. My stats aren't all that high but I tend to shine in trials. Since my elo is a little over 1600 it's hard to find a good team due to ridiculous requirements. I tend to state I'm an above average player looking to get sweaty and win. Also teamwork is the main thing for trials, simple call outs, cross fire, Stat changes. All of these can easily take your team of decent solo style players and make you a hard to beat team

2 AntwortenMy buddies and I do! We carry friends, randoms and anyone who needs a hand!

Bearbeitet von Bronzey: 2/29/2016 3:55:38 AMI mean, I do it, to a certain extent... But honestly, in life people want something of helping others that take time. Nothing really comes free now a days. I help people flawless every weekend, and it's unfortunate when I sometime fail when I'm doing double carries. But I revive positive feedback on how much I'm trying to help people, I at least help 10 groups 20 people total flawless every weekend Friday and Saturday. But at least subscribe and follow my twitch and YouTube. I don't ask anyone to spend hours watching, I would only appreciate a subscribe to my YouTube > BronzeHD and a quick Follow on my Twitch > BromzeHD If anyone needs help. NO experience needed, subscribe to my YouTube and follow my twitch, and I'm glad to help, you don't need to like every video or watch my stream, but since I'm a small YouTube/streamer, a follow and a sub is like a thank you for trying and helping NO RAFFLES

24 AntwortenSend me a message and friend request on ps4 I'll carry anyone who wants it

I don't have an issue with requiring that someone follow the channel before a carry. I don't have an issue with a raffle because it's fair. I don't have an issue with donor priority because it makes sense. I do, however, have an issue with charging money for any kind of run through donations. If someone's stream is big enough to where they have subs then I can understand giving subs priority because they support the channel. But, blatantly saying, "$20 for a run", is stupid to me.

4 AntwortenPeople just do it so it makes them look better. When a good player or two carry a noob it drops the overall Elo score so they're matched with easier competition
