For me, the most recent would have to be The Force Awakens, most places I've seen it mentioned, it is looked upon favourably but for me it just didn't really have that hook I was looking for and I thought they did some stuff wrong(focused too much on the old cast) but to be fair I wasn't the biggest fan of any of the previous stuff either, which is weird because I quite enjoy sci-fi.
