So my comment got deleted when all I suggested is that instead of three of coins dropping nothing they drop an exotic shard if you didn't get the engram so you can still be rewarded from using the coin then as usual instead of an exotic shard you actually get the engram it makes sense and would solve the shortage of exotic shards listen to your community bungie
